Thank you for your recommendations, your comments have been very useful. I have decided to allow her to use my photos without charging but will require that I be given credit for their use. Further, to insure that her web site loads quickly and that the photos are not stolen, I will provide them in a low Rez format.

I am an amateur photographer and yesterday a friend who has decided to create a web site to promote themself in a new venture asked me if I had some photos of the sounding area that she could use and that she was willing to pay for. I went through my Lightroom photo library and selected several expecting that maybe one or two would be useful. She came back requesting several that would be useful. My issue is since I have never sold any photos, what to charge. Any suggestions.

Forget the UV filter, Nikon makes a clear glass filter especially to protect your front element.

I have used that combination and except for the high f stop it works. I was shooting an osprey nest which was too far for the 400mm and the results were good but the sun was out and it was quite bright.

One caveat, if you go to the Valley of the Kings, Cameras are not allowed, however you can use your phone, strange but true.

I have an Adobe Lightroom account and I share lots of pictures using this by sending the person or persons a link which all they need to do is click on it and everything is there. You also have the ability to allow them to download the pictures should you choose to allow that.

I found a simple solution. I mounted my camera onto a board and an Aputure light at the end and after adjusting the light for sunlight, works great.

I own the Nikon Z 70-200 f2.8 and the 2TC and was looking at the new Z 100-400 f4.5-5.6 and wondering if it was a better option for bird photography. The f stop at 400mm is the same but does it offer better performance. The one plus would be with the 2TC it will yield 800mm but I am not sure that alone is sufficient since I already use the 500pf and the increase from 500 to 800 with the smaller aperture is necessarily better. any thoughts?

Although Adobe has the capability to log into your computer for assistance, the tech's are not as knowledge as I would expect. It took 2 hours the other day to correct a simple problem had the tech used Lightroom Classic he would have directed me to the solution in 5 minutes.

I have been shooting my grandson who plays lacrosse but the issues should be the same. The first game I brought my 500pf, 300pf and 70-200 F2.8 on my Nikon Z7 II. After the first half having used all three lenses I ended up with the 70-200 as being the best. Yes, I had to crop some of the shots but the shorter 200 gave me a better way of tracking my grandson. I will admit that the Z7 does offer 45mega pixels which allows for reasonable cropping.

Interesting, I have the Z7 and Catalina version 10.15.4 on my MAC and have no trouble viewing my files from the Sony XQD card. Check to make sure you have the latest update on Catalina.

I have another option which is a little more costly then those presented, that is the GNARBOX. I have version 1 which is a bit buggy but does work. I am considering upgrading to version 2 which has better reviews. This allows me to backup my photo's each night onto the GNARBOX and I also bring a 1T SSD and can back them up on the drive separately to keep in a separate location while traveling.

I have the 28-300 on my Nikon Z7 and love it and it is my go to lens when I travel. Prior to this I was always switching lenses and occasionally would miss a shot because I had the wrong lens on the camera or was afraid of dropping a lens as I switched. My results were alway good.
