Thanks Saxman71. I live in Anacortes and was hoping you had come up with photography targets I hadn't thought of. Oh well. I also like the view of the Anacortes harbor from Cap Sante and the view of the Olympics from the view point on the south side of Washington Park. Have we met? Are you a member of the Skagit Valley Camera Club?
Would love to know about some of your photographic targets in Anacortes and on Whidby. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Excellent. We were there about a year ago and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Actually, your pictures look amazingly like mine. Guess I'll have to compare side by side.
I rarely delete a photo in the camera (well, maybe if I've just shot a picture of my left shoe while adjusting the camera) because, too often, I've looked at pictures I've taken and, at first glance thought they were worthless, turned out to be very definitely good pictures. One can see things on a real computer screen that just aren't visible on the camera screen.
I came across some old B&W negatives, probably from grandparents or older. The largest I found was 2.5" X 4". Can anyone recommend equipment for scanning such negatives -- without totally braking the budget?
