What is the subject the girl or the flowers. The light on her looks wrong. It seems like you are using on camera flash and it is harsh. You need to change your dof and you need to crop this differently too much on the left side that doesn't need to be there. Maybe a square crop would work well with this image.
You could j I St use a reflector and get great light would be better than the on camera flash.
On camera flash bad get your flash off the camera.
Time spent is irrelevant because ultimately it is the finished product your after and that is what matters. As you gain experience you will know what works and doesn't for image's.
Are you using the correct channels I have pocket wizards so sometimes if channels don't mesh I have issues. If you are using a studio setup I would highly suggest buying quality lights in the long run you will save money and your work will be better because there is no substitute for quality light.
It doesn't look natural flowers are way too big.
I use X rite and worth it. You usually don't realize just how off your monitor really is and it makes printing accurately easier.
Doesn't matter because the file itself is still a RAW file so you still have all the data.
Experience usually makes for better images but improvements to algorithms help too and PhotoShop CC is a vast improvement
Yes you can shoot RAW in Monochrome so you can see the image that way on your LCD however the RAW data stays in full color and you will have to convert it but it is useful for composition sometimes

If you shoot RAW it doesn't matter if you choose monochrome because when you import the images everything will be there. If composition wise helps you to shoot in monochrome go for it. There are many ways to process to black and white you need to decide what works for you.
Should have started with just 1 lens. Then you could know better what your needs are for your style and subjects.
