I can't explain your problem but the first two shots, presumably of the moon, would be very much over exposed with the settings shown. Even the last one at 1600 ISO would be a bit suspect. My moon settings are usually ISO 100, F/8 and 1/250 sec.
It is well documented that the eye is drawn to very light or very dark areas. In this case the dark area is a bit of an eye snag, especially on download, so I would lighten it up just a bit. Otherwise a really pleasant autumn scene.
Methinks it's more likely in a zoo somewhere. The palm tree in the background is not common in koala country and the "tree" he's sitting in is certainly not one of his favourite eucalypts. Also koala's are more grey, not brown.
I just wish the kid with the Santa hat wouldn't ask so many convoluted questions. It's quite disconcerting when a six or seven year old comes out with such astute observations.
Looks flat enough for you to run off the road and not do much damage. It seems you are more impressed with your ability to be an absolute nutter behind the wheel than your ability as a photographer. Any 5 year old with a Walmart phone could have taken the shot.
Be wary of some of the lower end Canons. The focus ring turns with auto-focus so if you are holding a short lens towards the front it can impact the focus control. Nikon cameras, of all persuasions, do not do this. Sorry, second post. Where is the delete post button????
