Does anyone have any experience with Car Shield? Sorry, I posted this prior to reading the other posting that answered by post. I tried to delete my posting, but there's no way to do so.
Did they post how that answer was reached?
Somebody sent me the attached and said they got it from UHH. Was the correct answer posted?
I use WINDOWS LOGO+SHIFT+S and then select what I want to copy. Since I use the 'Windows History', what I copy also goes there.
All that is done on the Spectrum webmail page, not in Outlook. I have to leave for about an hour and when I return I'll post step-by-step instructions.
No. You move the "DELETE Items" folder (including all of its content) to the Trash folder. The Deleted Items folder no longer appears in the vertical list of folders.
Yes, it deletes the contents of the Trash folder, which now contains the Delete Items folder.
In Spectrum there's no Empty Folder option. The Trash folder has a Purge ALL.
I use Microsoft Outlook to enter face with Roadrunner/Spectrum. Here's how I delete files in Spectrum. I drag the folder (for example: Deleted Items) into the Trash folder and delete the "Deleted Items" folder. At the end of the day I shut down my computer. The next day Outlook creates a new Deleted Items folder containing only the files currently in my Outlook Deleted Items folder.
Here's how I move the folders to a destination drive (example shows moving the Documents folder:
1. Create the destination folder.
2. Right Click the Document folder and, from the drop down menu, select Properties.
3. In the Properties window, click the Location tab.
4. In the default setting dialog box you will see the current position of the documents file, i.e., c:\users\John\Documents.
5. Just below the location dialog box you will see three buttons:
• Restore Default
• Move
• Find Target
6. Click the Move button.
7. The select a destination window opens.
8. Select a destination for the Document folder and then Click the Select Folder button.
9. You will now be taken back to the documents properties window.
10. Next, Click the Apply button.
11. A message will now appear saying 'Do you want to move all the files from the old location to the new location'.
12. To continue, click Yes.
13. The documents folder, along with all of its files, will now be moved to the new location.
Yes, it stands for Separator. I usually use a dash.
I meant to say "Unique Number" instead of "Unique name"
Jerry,
I use the Unique Parameter feature in File Renamer to add a unique name to the beginning of files in a folder.
