Thank you SO much for posting these photos. I do a great deal of cemetery photography here in USA and so it is specially nice to see the graves in a place so far away. Photo #3 is specially nice. Your composition and the feeling of peace that comes from the image is very evident. Also, the composition in photo #8 of the woman coming down the stairs is exceptional too. Thank you - Your post is very meaningful to me. Susie Q
Thanks, here is the picture I used to PP into B&W, the clouds and lighting was the most challenging.
It is oh so much better in black and white! Also, the composition is such that your eye travels from the front of photo along to the back of the photo...very nice. I say Bravo to you!
And 2 very different stories of people and differing parts of the world.
Wow...the two different worlds (page 21)captured in a moment. The engagement photos vs. the old woman in Moldova...wow...almost too much to take in! Thank you for posting them and perhaps reminding us in the United States of how wonderful our lives are here. There's no place like home, this good ol' USA!
pg 4 - Thanks Jacklpine - Westward Ho! beach is a beautiful one of miles of sand...great for kite surfers and wind surfers as well as kids in the summer!
This picture tells the tale of summer ending, autumn coming and almost over too now . . . I managed to get out for a quick stroll between showers around these lovely gardens.
Just a little side note about the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island....a 1980 film titled "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jayne Seymour was filmed there. It is a charming tale of romance and time travel. The story is enchanting and the backdrop of the hotel fits right along with it... The Grand Hotel has events based on the story. As a matter of fact, one event is coming up at the end of October.
