I’ll do that. I have to transfer from my card to iPhone. Thanks for the help!!
Thanks I appreciate that. I used a canon AE-1 for so many years and digital is just hard for me. One day my shots are crisp and clear then suddenly they are way underexposed. I’m so confused
Thank you. The only shots that look weird are viewfinder shots and they are t spotty but cloudy.
Looking into view finder looks normal. It’s the image that I take that pops up on my screen that looks Cloudy but a pic taken In live mode looks good.
Well maybe I’m unable to pull those messages up!! That’s kind of rude. I have the worst internet ever and I can’t pull any answers up. And you aren’t looking at my sensor , I am and it’s cloudy. I’m not dumb, fyi
If I remove lens and look thru viewfinder I see dirty .
So the view finder and live shots are same image sensor? Thank you
I’ve realized my image sensor is not clean. I can take great sharp shots via live shooting on monitor but viewfinder see which I prefer is where my cloudy shots come from . I used a cleaner that I bought and it helped but not enough.
I’m taking camera to a shop hoping it can be cleaned. If not can sensor be replaced?
I’ve realized my image sensor is dirty. I can take a great shot with live view but in viewfinder it’s cloudy. I thought it was settings but I can see in viewfinder, with no lens on camera ( D3200 Nikon) that image sensor looks cloudy.
I tried the cleaner and little swipe pad. Helped a little but still a cloudy film.
Should I take it to a camera shop? And can image sensor be replaced with a new one so I don’t have to get new camera?
I have a Nikon D3200
I use auto set because I just can’t understand the settings. I could in my old canon film camera but I’m not getting this.
So yesterday I messed with settings with my book open. And today on auto , photos are almost white. On live setting not as bad but not great. I use view finder cuz I can see better.
I think I have some setting off or on. I’m so confused. Can someone give me some tips
I love wild birds and with this sigma 500mm lens on my D3200 Nikon I’m getting almost where I want to be!
I’ve never seen a Baltimore Oriole in my life!! This is in my yard.

I have for my camera which I bought used but for the lens I figured I’d a quick answer since I know pretty much the rest of the lens and how to use it. This was puzzling me. I sure appreciate your help!!

Had I not purchased this lens used and without a manual yes I certainly would have looked it up, read it, and had my answer.
But because I have no manual, and I have this great group of photographers who have been great help I thought “I know!! I’ll ask on uglyhedgehog!” And viola I got my answer and I thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.
An anyone tell me what this button on my Sigma zoom lens is for? I know the auto manual switch. It’s the one below it . THE OS ON AND OFF SWITCH! What is that for? Thanks!!
I spent weeks looking and asking questions about the right zoom for my Nikon D3200. The cost was an issue so I searched until I found a used one and now my wild bird passion has come to life.
