This is one of my favorites from Brooks Falls. The light was so pretty on this mom and her 2 cubs. This rock was definitely a great spot to pose in evening light.
The second I really like the puffin with the pretty flowers. This photo has a big crop, but worth it I thought!

Autumnal Orange
Everything’s orange as it should be And I don’t think of winter that would be All covered in white with long chilly nights To dream of spring, that could be
Thanks, for the quick response. I'll mull it over and see what others have to say as well, before plunging in. As you might guess, I am a professional procrastinator!
Have a 2 terabyte hard drive which I partitioned into .2 TB "C drive" and 1.8 TB "D drive". Thought I would keep programs on the C drive and data on the D drive. Sadly, I find that the free space on the C drive is often reduced to less than 10-12 GB and things begin to slow down and I get warnings when processing. I respond by using "disk cleanup" and search for things to delete and general clean up to recover some free space. I have Lightroom, Photoshop, and several Topaz products all currently installed on the C drive.
What I'd like to do is uninstall the Adobe and Topaz products and re-install them on the D drive (which has 1.3 TB to spare) and free up a bunch of space on the C drive.
Looking for warnings about how I not lose connection to all the files the Adobe and Topaz products need to preserve several years work.
Of course I'll back up both drives before doing anything else.
To merge your catalogs, consider / do the following:
1. Decide which one will be the single ongoing LRCAT after the merge.
2. Make / force an LR back-up of that LRCAT file.
3. Consider renaming the target merged LRCAT, such as adding a 01SEPT2021 date or 'merge' or some other identifier to the file name on disk.
4. Open the 'to-be' merge LRCAT in LR. Assure the other LRCAT(s) to be merged are available in connected disk media.
5. Create a check-list of all the LRCAT files that need to be merged.
6. Inside LR, use command File / Import from another catalog. Navigate to the source LRCAT to be merged. The process "pre" analyzes for any duplicates. Allow them to be imported as stacks.
7. Repeat step #6 until all the LRCAT files are merged.
8. Analyze and resolve any missing image files that might also need to be merged onto a single connected media.
9. Place the old / now out-of-date LRCAT files into your long-term storage back-up.

Wow! Thank you so much for this. I am not the none who asked the question but I anticipate I will also have to do this. On multiday birding trips I have often used LR classic on my laptop to to purge and save folders of each days photographs. On my return I want to merge the LRCAT files created while on the road into the much larger catalog on my computer at home. What you describe seems to be the solution - thank you!
