Since it was my fist time with the camera, I started everything on AUTO. It was to/2/two/too heavy for my ballhead but it worked fine on the one I had ordered for it off ebay:
Double Handle Camera Tripod Head 360 Degree Hydraulic Damping Ball Head 02
Condition:New
Quantity:
0 available / 5 sold
Price:US $22.15
The quick plate is long so you can offset the weight of the camera and I leave it on in the Nikon Holster. The long handles help a lot. All good so far.
First shot zoomed all the way out. I'm happy, K
Yeh, and one we can all bring our OWN cameras on. (Three original teeth showing grin!)
As I pull the arrows and darts out of my BHPhoto UPS box, I want to thank all who responded to my original post. To those who could not see the light, I thank you for driving the ISO up to 6400 to show me the grain in my picture. To those who could open their apertures, I thank you for raising your flashes so high, you blew away that grain and drove the ISO down to 25. To the English teachers, you had me terrified so I ran to the window ... but no, the world had not stopped, it just kept rolling on. To you, I say, "Me sorry, My bad! Grinning at you all and thanking God we live in a country where all your answers were right, K
I am glad PHOTOBUM has such a great camera, K
Wow, what a read! And we wonder why politicians cannot get anything done. Com'on Texas Riderxix, toss in your camera settings! Open our Irises! Throw off our tripods! Challenge our ISO's! K
I get the Coolpix today or tomorrow, they say if you take a picture of the wedding couple at 200mm by 1000mm it shows their kids and by 3000mm they are retired. Have a great day, K
Mine is a Nikon Coolpix p1000, K
I always wave at a fellow cyclist, it is nice to see photographers wave too.
You not only captured our cameras but also my spirit, thanks, K
I thought it would be neat to see how many other cameras fit the critics complaints? And since no one here misses a thing, I knew yall would know the many cameras. K
He is completely right, if this is a mature group..I'd better leave quick.
I'll tell yall tomorrow, K
