In checking out the manual on Nikonusa.com, without a hot shoe, and apparently without a commander mode for the pop up flash, I'd say your might be SOL.
I was wondering if anyone has successfully connected a Miops splash kit to a Nikon P 900 for doing water splash photography. The P900 doesn't have a hot shoe or bulb mode so I'm wondering if it can fire an external flash and if it has the right connector to hook the MIOPS to it.
Welcome to the Hog. Where in CT are you? Bob Cattera retired SCPO submarine rider out of Groton for 9 out of 20. Good to have you here. Look forward to seeing more of your images.

Welcome. Where do you go to see/shoot bald eagles?
There are Bald eagle at Mansfield Hollow state park and also you can see them on the Ct.river sometimes in the summer. Both places are about a half hour away from where I live.Haven't had a chance to get one in my lens yet though.
I'm retired and recently got interested in photography.I started out with a Nikon D5600 but decided I didn't want to go the change lenses route so I returned it and got a P900.I know IQ isn't the greatest but it works for me.I take mostly pictures of the birds at the feeder, some other wildlife, landscape and pictures of the grandkids.I've been lurking around here for about 3 months now reading a lot of the topics and looking at all the great photos posted here.I was wondering if anyone could ID this bird for me.I thought it was a young Bald eagle as there are Bald Eagles that frequent the area I was in but I cant find any pictures that look like it.Any ideas?
