I have the Sony camera you are looking at and really do like it. It is considerably lighter than the Canon I was using. I also have the Sony 6000, but my 7II will definitely be my go to. I purchased the 55 mm f/1.8 lens and could not nbe more pleased with the image quality straight out of the camera. In my opinion, you can't go wrong.
I have RAW images, sharp rendering while reviewing in Luminar 18. After minor edits, I converted to jpg for printing. The prints are blurry, not real bad, but not as sharp as what I saw on my Macbook Pro screen. I read that RAW files have to be sharpened in the editing process. Can anyone confirm that and possibly help with a "rule of thumb" perhaps so I can have a finished product I can enjoy? The photo is a family portrait. The camera is a Sony 7II mirrorless full frame with the 55 1.8 lens. Thank you.
