Orioles migrate as far south as Columbia and Venezuela, but their homing instinct is so great that they often return to the same yard and same tree for nesting. I hope you enjoy.

Grosbeaks are currently on the gulf coast, and they are on the way to their northern breeding grounds. Some of these birds fly across the Gulf of Mexico in one night while others fly along the Mexican coast. The color is better in download.

A few migratory birds are appearing in my yard. Usually, I have migratory visitors for about a month. The color is much better in download.

Excellent images and I prefer the closer crop, but I see all pictures as portraits. I think either crop works.

Herring Gulls are winter visitors in my area and most have already left. This young guy should be leaving soon.

There were a few gaps in the clouds, but most of the time it was just clouds, and the clouds managed to obscure the sun during the totality of the eclipse. I did see what I thought was a bat in flight, but of course, I got no pictures. I hope you enjoy.

Wires, trees, and rooftops are likely locations to spot black-bellied whistling ducks, and sometimes near water. I hope you enjoy.
