These are great shots, very nicely done!
Well, the Eagle Photo Competition winners, at the Conowingo Dam, in Maryland, will be announced this Saturday and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Last year I was lucky enough to take second place, but the competition is tough and just making it to the top four places is an honor. I've attached my second place image, from last year, and my two entries for this year. We'll see how it goes in a couple of days.

Great images Bill, the Conowingo is one of my favorite locations to shoot. Did you put anything in the eagle competition?
My wife and I took our two granddaughters to the Wolf Sancturay in Lititz, Pa this weekend and it gave me a chance to put my new Sigma 150 - 600mm to use. This sanctuary provides a wonderful home for wolves that have been rescued from all across America.

Great shot! and with a cell phone no less, that's amazing. Here's one I took at the Conowingo Dam in November.
Watching the gulls.
Great shot, Peter. It's been a little iffy down at the dam so far this year, I don't think it has gotten cold enough up north to chase the eagles down. But, there's always something to photograph there.
These are incredible shots in every way. They are simply beautiful.
Yep, Sterling and I belong to the York County Camera Club, you should come over sometime. It's kind of slow down at the dam these days, some folks are thinking that the 'season' may be over. Others think that it hasn't been cold enough up north and the eagles actually haven't travel down yet. I'll keep going down as much as possible, even seeing a few eagles is great.
The Conowingo Dam eagles are still active, although not as plentiful as last month.

Checking out the area.
I'm using a Sigma 150 - 500mm. You have to wait for the eagles to get in a bit closer but when they do, you can get some decent shots.
The Conowingo Dam, in Maryland, is still very active - sometimes you don't where to look, the eagles seem to be everywhere.

These are great shots, way to go!!!
Thanks everyone, I'll try these suggestions.
I know that I should know the answer this question but my brain isn't working right now, so here goes...I shot with a Nikon D7100 and when I put my images in the computer, I get two images, i.e. DSC0738 and DSC0738_2. This just started and I'm not sure what I changed or did differently. I'm shooting in JPEG - Fine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks again everyone, I've been back to that location quite a few times and not had that light again. Sometimes you just happen to be in the right place at the right time.
