I began using PSP back when version 4.0 was released as I couldn't afford things like Photoshop at that time. As Jasc continued, I not only kept using it (alongside Photoshop and various others I added as money allowed), but I promoted it widely to average folks who were not tech-savvy as it was dead simple to operate, and folks could be comfortable within minutes.
I myself am pretty well settled these days for the apps I need, or choose to use, but will take a look at On1 by your recommendation - in case I determine I need something else/more on down the line. :-)
Amazing how well the color of her nipples blends with the color of the window frame. Seriously nice!
It was a much better program in the days before Corel took over Jasc Software, as solidly built as a tank; Corel immediately (and continually since) began adding function after function, attempting to be all things to all users, and the brings things like slower load and response times, and so on.
However, for the money, you really cannot beat Paint Shop Pro. It's a one-time fee for less than $100, and it does have a ridiculous number of functions that Photoshop doesn't, and its workflow space is so similar you'll be running top-speed all over the place in no time.
Corel tries to get you to buy a new version every handful of months, by adding new functionality, or additional app that ties in and so on - but generally speaking, waiting for a few versions to go by before reinvesting is a wise move. PSP also plays well with a LOT of plug-ins and assorted apps.
Of course you could do what many folks do, and remain with an OLD Photoshop version (I still utilize CS4 myself).
The top shot looks a bit like Glenn Close; both shots are well staged, well lit, and do a nice job of capturing a quite attractive older woman. Good job.
Everything is distinct unto itself, an amalgamation of objects that fits together perfectly. Very very nicely done.
Man, you could tell she was a 70's woman from a good distance! ;-)
No idea who started this whole sticking your tongue all the way out like that among females the last handful of years, but it could go away any day and I'd be happy - always adds an aura of ignorance and trashiness to my eyes.

I'm thinking it is probably quite hard to get a deal with Playboy.
On another note I had Jenny McCarthy's original pull-out hanging in my garage for over a decade and when I asked people who they thought she was no one answered correctly. The same goes for Pam Anderson her first shoot she looked more like the girl next door than the model/actress she became later after all the surgery. Thanks for sharing.
I hate all the insert, inflate, chop and channel BS that goes on with women - especially celebrities. Perfectly lovely and beautiful women who just plain Eff Up what God made. Jenny McCarthy went too far for sure, but Pam Anderson is an outstanding examples of "WTFug could make you ever do THAT to yourself?"
Sexy? PUH-leeze!! More sex appeal in a $25.00 blow up doll.
I haven't been on the site in something like a year or more, out of the blue I get an email from the site with an "update", and clicking on it, I was taken to your post.
Now I remember a time I had been off-site for a bit, and when I returned, it was just in time to see your departure post, and had not seen any posts of your work for a couple months-ish before that took place.
I don't need to know why you began posting again, but, I am very glad of it! You and your wife still make an exceptional team, and in these shots, you've captured her perfectly and shows that even sans makeup she positively radiates beauty and warmth.
If there isn't at least a very large coffee table book in the future it will be a waste; there ought to be gallery showings and sales, that allow the world to see the work you two have done/do.
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Beautiful lady, and it's nice shot. Wish her a Happy Birthday for me and the rest of us ol'farts 50 or older. If only most of us men aged half as well as most women do. :-)
Water droplets is the best of the series for sure. Hope you bought those girls a couple sandwiches. :-)
LOVE everything about this shot, from the darkness, to the light sourcing, to the wonderful drapery of the sheets (not to mention a truly beautiful tush).
Very nice. (I might have filtered a shot like that in a nice Prussian Blue monochrome)
There was a box within the box we never saw...
Cool fun set, but reminds me of a terrible movie "Boxing Helena".
