Hello all, I have had an author ask me for one of my photos for their book cover photo.
I have only done the cover photos for a few telephone books, and those were on a barter basis. They gave me free advertising for the use of my photo.
I have no clue what the going rate is for someone wanting to use my photo for their book cover, and was wondering if any of you know what the all around going rate is?
I would still own the photo, they would just be using it.

Went to the rodeo here in Vermont Saturday evening.
The rodeo is such a great place to capture some cool images.

Erv, my settings were ISO 800, F 2.8, Lens set to infinity. 30 seconds exposure. :)

We finally had some stars in the sky last night afters days of cloudy snowy weather, so I went outside with my camera and captured this image. The glow is from a town 8 miles north of us. :)

Green Heron, we have them here in Vermont too in the summertime.
Mostly only see them in the swampy wildlife refuge areas.
