So we return to interpretation, our belief, our opinion
I didn't want to requote everything, so just took the last line. I actually like this post; I'm okay with talking about religion and beliefs. My mother made sure my brothers and I went to church and got some religious training, but said it was ultimately our choice. I don't attend church on a regular basis, and I would never claim to know what the "t***h" is. But, I'm sorry that religion (Christianity in particular) has become the target of so much anger and hostility. Of course, a lot of awful things have been done in the name of God, but I think too often the baby is being thrown out with the bathwater (that's an old one!).
Anyway, I thought this was a mostly pleasant and interesting discussion. Thanks.
I'm no expert, and maybe it's because the first one was the first one I saw, but that's my favorite. I always look through a series of photos quickly and go to the one that really caught my eye. The second one is beautiful by itself, but compared to the other two, it's just not as dramatic. There's something about that big wave hitting the rocks, and I happen to like the size of the sun. For me, it balances out the waves. Everything is subjective!

Try the Up-Strap. The web site is a mess and hard to follow, but call them. I purchased two of the M-RR-K straps. and like they say, they do not slip. Also very comfortable.
Bob, I hope you see this. I ended up buying an Up-Strap. It’s the M-RR-Sling, and it has lots of padding. My only problem is they don’t show how you use it! Probably my best bet is to call them because, as you pointed out, their website is not very good! Anyway, thanks for the info. Anne
Thanks! Someone had mentioned that to me on the one photo I submitted, and I wasn’t sure why.
I like red, too, but this is an awfully nice orange! (I don’t understand “download” beneath the photo?)

I pay little attention to how much the camera weighs and more to what it will do. I keep things simple. I use Upstrapand will continue to do so due to their exemplary customer relations.

I’ve gone back to this one a couple of times. It looks like there’s lots of padding and it’s fairly wide. I’m not normally that picky, but it seems like every time I carry my camera, I end up with pain.

Personally, I use a simple hand-strap. I know a lot of folks don't like these, but the cam is always at my hand, and simply doesn't allow me to drop it.
I’ve seen some very nice ones, and a friend who had a neck injury loves hers. I’ve just had so much wrist and arm pain I’m afraid this would make it worse.
My husband were out there in early June. We both took photos of Mt. Rushmore, but nothing close to this good! What were you using?
I’m glad I’m not the only one who worries about dropping my camera! I’m always very careful, and have managed to drop my iphone twice now, after buying the larger size. Fortunately, I had a good case on it, which isn’t an option for my DSLR.
My friend bought the Cotton Carrier so she could take her camera trail riding on her horse. All I can think about is falling off, and landing on that camera! I’ve seen a few suggestions here that might work for me. Even though I have a padded OpTech, I’m wondering if a winder strap might do a better job of distributing the weight. There were a couple of neoprene ones that looked like a possibility.
The thing I’d like to do is have an opportunity to try a strap before buying. I’m hoping one of our camera stores will let me do that.
[quote=birder585]I use a holster type Spider Pro. It's not cheap but IMO is worth every penny! I have back issues & this has fixed the problem of the weight on my back. It is extremely comfortable & I can almost forget the camera is there.
To be honest, I don't mind paying a lot IF it works for me. I watched the video, and it looks really well made. The only thing I worry about is dropping the camera as I'm pulling it out of the holster. I keep reading about the straps also preventing that from happening.

I really like the “[UPDATE]IMORDEN Falcon F-2“ camera strap available on Amazon. The shoulder part is wide neoprene and it has a safety strap that connects to the camera. It also comes with a wrist strap (I use this as the safety strap). I have a full frame Sony a99ii and some heavy lenses and can carry it a lot longer than other methods.
I looked at that, and it's nice! Thank you.

My advice re chin ups is to do pull ups, not chin ups with a hammer grip, also called a neutral grip. It stresses the shoulder joint less and it stresses the wrist less. I also suggest that you use the gym apparatus that helps with pull ups and set it so you can do a minimum of 10. You are putting too much stress on your shoulders and wrists if you are doing 3 chin ups to failure.
We're a little off topic, but I appreciate your advice! I've been to a PT, and that helped some, but I need more! Believe me, I put stress on everything (it feels like). A few years ago, I had no problems, but age creeps up apparently!

Those look good. They have a wider, more padded strap. Thank you!
I just checked, and I have an OpTech. The padding is nice, so I’m not sure why it’s not working for me. I actually get frustrated, and half the time just have it around my neck! Of course, this is for walking around my yard, and often I’m in a hurry so don’t spend time trying to figure out how it should sit. Maybe I have something adjusted wrong.
We have a local camera store that has been closed because of flooding. So normally I’d go there for help, and maybe that’s what I still need to do. As someone else pointed out, I could try whatever they recommend to see if it works.
