Hello, there has been some discussion on the saturation of colors. I might add this, as far as saturation. I only use photoshop and lightroom, so I can't speak for other programs, but in general, there is more than one way to increase saturation. Increasing the contrast can sometimes make the pictures look more saturated. The same can be said for increasing highlights and using the darken slider. Color can also be increased by using the clarity and dehaze slider. It can also be done by increasing vibrance. And if you want to increase saturation, I would do it in these ways, and then actually decrease the saturation slider. When I first started sending to stock agencies for sales, I was rejected a lot because the colors were over cooked. At the time I thought the photos look good, but when I went back and looked at them, I realize they really were over cooked. The different sliders increase saturation in different ways, but the saturation slider seems to really overdo it to me. So if I want to increase saturation, I will do it in other ways, then decrease saturation on the saturation slider. I think it looks much better. I think you have some real potential for great pictures, just play around a bit with your program and see what different sliders change. Also, look for the unusual, in my opinion anyway, and look for things that you don't see everyday, or see in a different way than normal.

I use Photoshop Express, and that is something I would have found out in a year so thank you for the tip.
