You know, like one that is alredy modified and has an awesome a light filtering apparatus’s already installed. While you at it can you give me an idea ofthe guiding camera that goes on the guiding scope. peace

I can say that it is beautiful! I have no technical opinions as of today but will be looking forward to revisiting this post to when I have learned at least some of the lingo. In fact I will go as far as to say that it’s the prettiest I have ever seen Miami.
Good day.

I have three Labs. Shelbe Belle a King Ranch pedigree champion who is 12 and golden. Reggae her first son that is 10 and black. Champion aka “The Champ” is her youngest at 6 and golden.
I know that there is a lot of tech to this. I have never even owned a telescope. But like I said I have been fighting for years with scopes and binaculars. Holding the Sony Cam in the eye piece with a tripod just to capture a glimpse of light from a planet. So I’ve got the spirit and “want too”
Been taking about it for years. So after putting on a new roof, walls, kitchen and floors...Mamma made sure I had enough for the Astrophotographers Dream.
I just really need to find the low down on the DSLR.

This is a first. I have never been on a form. Not for any reason. But perhaps the fact that I have permeant wheels built on my butt keeps me from meeting friends on a forum. I have never met a stranger and have no problems asking questions. I have been a sky watcher since I was five years old. I can still remember laying in the grass looking at the clouds and getting that overwhelming feeling that I have never felt before. You know that feeling. The one that you are so small you just became the size of the ant. I have never again really experienced that feeling but it was so profound that even now when writing about it I can smell the wind and taste the fresh cut grass in my mouth. It was a family reunion on the Hillsbough river in Tampa Fla. All of my mother’s family was there. With seven Aunts and four Uncle’s and all of their children, it was a mind crowd of a day. I am the youngest of all of them except my younger brother of two years and he was still in diapers. All I know is that all these people are at my favorite park. I knew every trail from the river to the ranger station, to the restrooms and back to the river before the piggy perch could steal the wiggling worm off the hook of my new homemade bamboo fishing pole.
I loved to fish then and I still do to this day. I am also still protective of my favorite places and spaces but won’t hesitate to share. I don’t know what lead me that day to be off the river from fishing only to be found tucked under an oleander tree so as to use its leaves as a sun blind. I think I feel asleep tired from the Aunts telling me to take the jelly off one piece of bread and scrap it back into the jar because she thought I had just to much for a proper P&J sandwich. Ok I have no idea where this came from or why I just spewed a Narration of a one instance time instance when I was 5. But here it is!
I just invested 1,730.00 on camera, telescopes, mounts, tripods, that I learned about on a YouTube channel. I am a novist. I have been chasing the stars and moon literally with a scope or binoculars and a Sony handy cam both on Tripods. I have created some pretty good videos but not without fighting the equipment and chasing a speck of light through a bottled lens.
I am hear to learn immediately so that I can return what I truly ordered wrong but to find the equipment that I will need. I don’t know how to modify a DSLR.
I ordered almost everything from AstroBackyard’s 3rd video on YouTube uploaded 2 years ago. DSLR Astophotography Equipment for Deep Sky Imaging - My Complete Set Up

I still have $609 to $800 to spend. Like the Feild Flattner, the CCD guide camera, the Shoestring GPUSD. Then there are the mounts. I have the Go To sky watcher. Then I about FREAKED when I saw that there is a LPS Filter that is needed after you modify the Canon. I can’t do that!!
So the Cart before the Horse doesn’t give it justice. Plain stupidity for buying it all up front. But it’s not here yet and I am thinking that I should look instead at the Mead 70mm quad LD APO.
Now I need a DSLR that has been modified and or if I can buy them ready to go.
Everyone can call me crazy and I agree. I did spend the whole day on Sunday writing this while rebuilding my house from Harvey, playing with my pups and arguing with my husband that if he would have just taken me on a picnic that I wouldn’t have to have so many hobbies. PEACE Love Out!
