Thank you! The reviews are great to read, but it's wonderful to have feedback from an owner.

I use it with the R6. I also use it with the RF 1.4 with no real problems. It might be a slower lens, but for me weight is beginning to be a problem. I also use the RF 100-500L but not as much as I did before getting the 100-400.
In addition to image sharpness tests at the link above, there also are tools on that website to compare distortion, flare, vignetting and general specifications of the two lenses. Note that while different models of cameras were used to make the test shots at the above link, they are likely similar enough resolution (50MP and 45MP) to give good comparisons.
Thanks so much for the info! I appreciate the time you took to reply. Best regards!

Ken Rockwell likes his and I’ve never found anything to disagree with in any of his reviews of Canon equipment. He’s also a big fan of the EF 100-400mm L IS II USM (my favorite all-around lens), so I think he’s given as balanced and informative a comparison review as you will find out there: https://www.kenrockwell.com/canon/eos-r/lenses/100-400mm.htm
BTW, Please support his reviews by buying the lens from any of his links (he doesn’t link to knock-off, gray market shysters), and he can then keep on providing honest & detailed reviews of the latest equipment… saves us all having to “rent & try” individually.
And no, he’s not my Uncle & I get nothing for recommending his reviews.

Greetings all, Interested in feedback from owners/users of the Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM. Experience in how it compares to the Canon EF 100-400 II? I have a Canon RP for now (as well as crop-sensor DSLRs). Thank you
Nice photos! The H.H. Bennett Studio & Museum in downtown Wisconsin Dells is a very interesting place to visit.
It "documents the history of the Wisconsin Dells and the life of H.H. Bennett, whose stunning landscape photographs helped showcase the beauty of the Wisconsin Dells and the Driftless Area, attracting some of the first tourists."
It's closed for the season now, but this website can provide more info.
Post processing. The colors are very true for a Michigan fall, however, there's no way a whitetail buck's antlers would still be in velvet at that time of year.
Thank you for the update, however, it's still terribly disappointing that you didn't ever acknowledge or respond to personal messages over the course of days.
