Thats because we all have lots of old chargers. New stuff tends to come with USB-C on both ends.
My laptop has a usb-c charger, as does my iPad, my wife’s iPhone, anything new. They do charge much faster with the usb-c cord which will handle 60-100w
I’ll second pmorin on Whatsapp. Works for both audio and video calls anywhere you have WiFi. Tmobile has global free roaming as
well though they do limit your data speed in some countries beyond a set limit.
For outdoors a good monopod with the Wimberley mh100 head makes life much better, keeps the camera at eye level without killing your arms, the heavier lens and camera combo gains a lot of weight towards the end of any game. On the lens I’d agree with the 70-200 and 1.4 combo, shoot at a fixed shutter speed and aperture and auto ISO for best results. Have fun!
Looks like someone cropped out the library building behind him..that belongs too. And maybe a telephone..
I also brought a top loading bag (Manfrotto) so I could drop the camera with the long lens in it if we paused or were in dusty conditions but put the second body on the floor, could flip the top and pull it out quickly when needed. A bean bag ( you can fill it with rice when you arrive) is also handy to have, a lot of my shots were in low light
I have had good success with the Anker products, from Amazon. Used Iniu as well but it doesn’t seem to hold a charge as long, 100% when I leave and zero a few days later
Perhaps a dumb question, You are sure they mean no AC power and not no air conditioning?
Between penguins, and orcas hunting penguins, I went through nearly 3 batteries in one rare sunny day (Sony A1, A7RIII). Also got sunburned.
I’d agree with Don on the battery limit, I’ve lost a couple to security for being over 10..
Enjoy, I’d go back tomorrow.
If you are on a budget look at the A6300 too. It has the newer sensor and phase detect af, but is available quite cheaply compared to the newest models. Might allow you to have your cake and eat it- look at KEH and MPB for body and lens, they will give you bit extra if you are doing a swap.

wireloose: The only official Bible recognized by the Church is the Douay-Rheims version, which is the only one coming from the Latin Vulgate, without any modernization of words or content. See attached image right from the Douay-Rheims. You can do a search of anything within the Bible, from either the Whole Bible, the Old Testament, or the New Testament at
https://www.drbo.org/.
This only approved translation was done by one of the greatest scholars of the Church, St. Jerome, who translated the Bible into Latin between A.D. 383 and 404.

The Church in this case meaning the Catholic church, I was brought up in Canada as a Protestant so we used the St James version- similar vintage, 20 years after DR. At least thats what we studied when I was getting under my desk in 1960. But this was very interesting and a learning experience for me, so thank you- not being a biblical scholar I was unaware of it, despite sending my kids to a Catholic High School. At the end of the day I think any differences are somewhat esoteric?

That idea does comes from the Bible, but here’s the actual verse that appears in Matthew 19:6:
“So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
😊
That’s a more modern translation. The King James Version many of us were raised on of Matthew 19:6 is in fact “ Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder”
Used them many times, never an issue. Usually I compare KEH and MPB, go with whoever is higher, both give online prices which are pretty reliable. If you trade in and buy something else they give an extra 10%
The movie was great- Tom Hanks of course, but also Fredrik Backman who wrote the original book (A man called Ove) and is just brilliant. It’s rare to find a movie of a book you love and not be in the least disappointed. “My Grandmother says to tell you she’s sorry” is another Backman book I recommend to all my friends. Anything new of his I buy the day it’s published.
