When I got this Galaxy Fit 3 watch, I mentioned that the magnetic charging cable has a USB-C fitting on the end. I ordered a pair of USB-C chargers for it. Today, I saw that I could have ordered a pair of USB-Type A charging cables for less money. I didn't like the idea of having just one cable to charge the phone, so now I have three. Where is standardization when you need it?

I hope this doesn't become a new trend - USB-C charging cables.

Unfortunately USB-C is the fiuture. My Apple M2 laptop does not even have an A type connector nor ethernet. Just 3 USB-C sockets

I was on a freeway that had a closure, and they used a "zipper" effect on traffic. Worked like a charm! No one got upset because the other lane was barging in and both lanes moved nicely.

How does that work and who is "They"

A little Google survey popped up a few minutes ago. One of the questions was, "Do you think Google is concerned about your privacy?" Are they kidding? "Strongly disagree."

Can't knock it. My Google stock went up over 10% today. Think I'll go out and buy a new camera.

Someone who wants a Rolex doesn't want something just to tell time. While it's very accurate for a mechanical watch the accuracy isn't better than a cheap quartz watch.

I bought my Rolex GMT Master back in 1965 in Gibraltar. Cost then $300.
That was way before there was anything digital. Absolutely I needed a good accurate watch as I was working in Africa.
Still keeps on ticking and I never take it off my wrist, even for showering. The bezel has faded. Only ever had it serviced once

Although I'm pretty capable on a computer, the dash board on my 2018 RAV4 LE pretty much defeats me. They tried to get me to upgrade from their basic model, but why pay for MORE stuff that you don't understand was my reasoning. Anyway, it does have a CD drive that I've made many CDs for and that's great, however, I noticed that way under the radio, close to the console, there is a USB port and I was wondering if I put music on a thumb drive and plugged it into the USB port would the radio recognize it and play the music? Thanks...

Anyone ever deal with a company called Mercari?

It's supposed to be a consumer-to-consumer site. They claim that their policy is that they don't process your payment until three days after you receive a product, and that you can return it within the three-day period.

I've seen a few websites say they are legit.

Sounds Great.

They have a BBB rating of A

Sounds Great.

Their customer rating on the BBB site is 1.06 stars out of five (over 1000 reviews). WHAT? Given that some people misclick, I wouldn't have thought that was possible.

I see a listing for a Nikon Z 7 ii today for Under $400 -- with the 24-70 claiming that it has about 300 clicks. What????

My first, second and third reactions are this has got to be a scam. But if I'm not charged until I receive the item, I'm not sure I'm seeing what it is.

Anyway -- comfortable in the belief that if it looks too good to be true, it almost certainly is. I'm not going to bite.

But does anyone know what the play on the part of the seller is here.

They ship you an empoty box so they get proof of delivery. Then it's up to you to prove that you did not get what you ordered.

BUT trump was gifted tons of free media coverage in 2016 because he was a novelty.

Many of the networks woke up in 2020, and didn't gift free air time to trump the second time around.

But he gets free publicity every day. I don't believe there is a single TV station that does not mention Trump every day.
As they say " Even bad publicity is better than no publicity "

I would think/hope the leader of the free world would set a civil/respectful level of public international discourse.

A hot mic once caught Aussie PM Kevin Rudd exclaiming ... "Those Chinese rat-f@ckers!" ... at a trade gabfest, most likely in Mandarin, one of his sk**ls.

The world does not have Free world leader. Perhaps if we did we could stop all this fighting and bickering.

When I started my laptop last night, I saw this pop-up in the bottom right corner: "Installing Windows 11." It was out of the blue - nothing about updating or upgrading. I'll start it today and see what version of Windows I have on it.

Somewhere in the "Settings" menu there should be a check list that asks if you want Automatic updates or not.
