The funny part is how normal they all look when they were young.

The biggest miracle on Star Trek is that they could collectivize the entire planet Earth and make it work. It is the biggest lie of all.

Youtube is running ads as well. There is no escape except for recording and FFing the ads.

The expression is first found in the Bible. A jot and tittle are vowel markings in Hebrew that were added to the written language during their sojourn in Babylon after having been conquered. They are very small marks, hence the reference to them as being just a tiny bit, but even that tiny bit won't be passed over or ignored until every bit of the Law of Moses would be fulfilled. Including the jots and tittles.

There is no such thing as an engine that has lifetime oil. If that is advertised, then it is merely a marketing ploy for lazy owners. What it also means is that the engine will have a short life, since the oil will never be changed.

20 or so years ago, VW claimed that their 01M auto-transaxle had a lifetime fluid fill and never needed maintenance. Since those transaxles gained a reputation of being a crappy unit that died at 100-120k miles, I suppose you could say the prediction was correct. But the box lasted a LOT longer if you changed the fluid and filter every 30k miles like everyone else recommends for their transmissions and transaxles.

Cheers!

There are 3 types of people in our country, those that will fight for our freedoms, those that support them, and those that do nothing but cry, complain, and demand that we support them. Unfortunately the latter out number the first two.

God Bless America
I don't think they do, but the media would have you believe they are pervasive. If it was really so, they would quickly vote themselves sufficient benefits to bankrupt the nation. The media in general are corrupt, and believe in collectivism. Too bad as they then betray the public they claim and pretend to serve.

I guess that's why in reality we are a republic.

Democracy is a nice word for mob rule. It is too cumbersome to get anything done. In addition, it usually fails at the number one reason for having a government in the first place.

The Constitution is there in order to provide a real working solution to the number one reason to have a government, which is the protection of your and my inalienable rights. The republic, or democratic representative government, provides a way to get things done, and a buffer to hopefully keep emotion out of the process so that illogical passions are kept out of the process.

Well, you'd need a much better gas tank. One of the biggest problems with hydrogen is that conventional storage mechanisms don't work well. The hydrogen atoms are so small that they zip through the sides of metal tanks. You lose a significant percentage in days. So you'll have to figure in those losses as well.

Also for hydrogen, the required infrastructure simply doesn't exist and would be a significant expense. Significant, as in the entire US budget expenditure for defense is a significant expense. At this point in time, it is a solution in search of a problem. There are just too many yet unsolved problems right now. With time, maybe the solutions will become reasonable. Right now, the answer is no.

This stuff is not uncommon here in The People's Republic of Oregon. There is also a case where 21 people, the oldest is 22 and the youngest is 11, trying to get approval for a lawsuit against the federal government ... their claim is that neither the Executive Branch nor Congress have a right to pass laws or regulations; they claim it must all be done through the courts.

The real lawsuit there should be against the state educational system, which probably neglected any mention of the Constitution. That such a lawsuit also betrays the incredible stupidity of the plaintiffs doesn't really need mentioning, even though I did it anyway...

It is really too bad that these target of harassment don't counter sue for the immense damage they are causing. Such lawsuits would clog the courts and thereby deny legitimate access for real needs. That the court would allow such a lawsuit even to be filed is evidence of the judicial system's lack of intelligence and sanity. The lack of perspective just goes beyond the pale. In the case above, the judge would be walking off a cliff to allow this lawsuit, since there is a lot of clear history on denying it. And the legal system seems to value case history above real law and real principles so many times (although that is actually correct in this case). We'll see what happens.

I agree with Shakespeare on who should be the first to go in the revolution.

Good one! Fortunately, that's just a comedy sketch. We all know that the Cloud is perfectly secure. : )

Yeah, sure. Like the cloud owners and/or admins are going to advertise it if they get hacked. Do they even know? I think not.

Sometimes you get a kid so smart that a test such as this is a large irritating regurgitation exercise. The answers given are perfectly correct, even though they aren't what the teacher is looking for. The kid might be a smart aleck, or might be trying to combat a horribly boring school experience. I doubt the teacher is cognizant of the school system's limitations.

The core symbol has an ancient history. Known as a broken cross, crow's foot, or witch's foot, it has historically been used in satanic worship and as an anti-Christ symbol. It is the symbol painted on the doors of the Russian Orthodox Churches after the Bolsheviks went in, murdered the priest, then locked up the church.

You can believe in the mirthful lies surrounding the symbol if you like, but as an avid believer in Christ and Him crucified, I will never knowingly have this symbol anywhere in my possession.
