An adventure not likely to be forgotten! Too bad about the phone though.

Love the mountain and the water shot great composition and color. They say if you want a great photo stand in front of a beautiful scene. The spyder and the fly you should repost on Halloween. My favorite is Ranger hope everything is good with him. I know you are taking great care of him. Enjoy your Sunday.

If he has joint pain due to arthritis, or just worn out parts (I can relate), then there may be a benefit there.

Carprofen (Generic Rimadyl)

Carprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug of the carbazole and propionic acid class that was previously for use in humans and animals but is now only available to veterinarians for prescribing as a supportive treatment for various conditions in animals.

I intensely dislike seeing the quality of life deteriorate, even if it's a pet. My wife and I have a CareCrefit card just for our dogs and horses...

I swiped this descriptionfrom Wikipedia but in spite of the "various conditions" comment, NSAIDS are generally pain relievers. I have been living on them for the last 15 years, but it is now time for the knee replacements that I've been studiously avoiding for so long...

I found pretty much the same info when I searched.

Hope those knee replacements help when you get them.

the Rainier shot is #1. Take it easy on Ranger.

Thanks for looking Mike! Appreciate your comment, and I'm pretty sure Ranger does too.

Perhaps Ranger could use a bit of Rimadyl before the walks?

Especially if otherwise enjoys being out and about with you.

Thanks for looking and for your comment! Much appreciated Mike D.

I'll check that out.

Beautiful shot of Rainier. Well done. And that is one ugly fly on the window. The spider shot is cool, too. And poor Ranger. He’s showing his age.

Thanks for looking and for your compliment and comments Greg! Much appreciated.

Ranger did better today, close to 2 miles.

At least I'm guessing that. Ranger hasn't been doing much more than an eighth of a mile before he's ready to come back home.

He let's me know by slowing way down, or even backing away. I'll take him home, then head back out for my walk.

Not a whole lot of photography taking place every day. But I'll share what I've got.

As usual these were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G.

Just hanging on.

Nice photos. Looks like fun.
I used to give my dogs Benadryl when the fireworks started or we had a thunderstorm. They slept through it but it works backwards on some dogs and makes them hyper so we switched to Melatonin. Works like a charm. Saves dogs a lot of stress.

Vaun No Ranger is conning you. By pretending he is afraid he will get a lot of attention and maybe extra treats. No I know what you mean my dogs were all afraid of the noise. It got so bad even a thunderstorm freaked them out.

I hope you all will have a great fireworks show down there. We’re not, it appears, due to the extreme dryness and fire danger and the burn bans in effect. Alaska currently has 300 wildfires going across the state and I’m sure they don’t want to risk anymore.

Thanks for your comment. We actually came up to our daughter's in hopes of avoiding the fireworks. Ranger is terrified of the noise.

In my walks I follow the sunrise, but some flowers still hide in the shade.
