Thanks to all for their opinioms about the sigma 150-500- I have purchased one
I have been looking for a telephoto lens for my wifes nikon D 80- It seems like the Sigma 150-500 would fit the bill- I have located one at a reasonable price but am concerned because I have seen numerous post from people that they have experienced motor problems etc with this lens. They went on to say that they had returned their lens and that the replacements works great. My problem is if I buy a lens from an individual and hav problems am I stuck ???

I bought a nex 5 with a nauticam housing and have used it on one dive trip-am pretty happy with it but not really comfortable using it except on auto -looking for any hints or referrals to a manual that might help me - the pictures/video that I took were pretty good but want to use the cameras best capabilities
