Im considering the same question, but I have only two Nikon lenses so Im ready to change platforms if it makes sense. Nikon’s mirrorless is too pricey. Fuji is more affordable as is the Sony a6000 series. Im in between those two.

This sounds very doable for me. I will have to study these features and give it a try. Thanks.

Shooting from a tour bus is always a challenge. I saw beautiful landscape but wondering if there's a way to eliminate the streaks caused by the polarized bus windows. I may have had a polarizer filter on the lens. Could that be the issue? Can it be cleaned up in Lightroom Classic?

The windows were cleaned regularly during the trip. Circular filter. ProMaster.

You do not have to put a lens on the RX-1. It has a 1 permanent lens.

I don't want to go small just for small’s sake. Staying with Nikon would likely be the 7500 with a lens making it bulky and inconvenient for vacation travel. But too small a sensor may be a sacrifice i might hesitate with. Prob would need to try it out. I struggle now with sharpness usong the Tamron, so thats also a factor for me. I dont really think im asking too much...size, quicker and sharper focus, and some good lens options.

Im only buying one camera. I don't have the luxury of a toolbox full of tools for different projects. So im looking for an all purpose camera to use for vacation, traveling, family shots, and some hobby shooting.

Nice to use old lenses, but wonder of their effectiveness on the Sony. Do you like them over the Olympus OMD camera line?

Considering changing brands from Nikon as Im upgrading to a new camera. I have only 2 lenses so im not tied to Nikon. D7500 is a heavy brick. Considering lighter and smaller mirrorless. Maybe Sony or Olympus? Any suggestions?
