Excellent shot and good composition. Scratching my head as to whether you lucked into good lighting or used a strobe but no matter - this is definitely one for your wall.

I have owned the Tamron 90 F2.8 macro for 2 years and have had nothing but superb results with it on my Nikon D810's and my D850. Many of the purists will tell you to stick with Nikon but given the comparable quality and dollar difference, the Tamron comes out the winner.

Very nice series and I'm certain you'll be even more satisfied with this lens the more you use it - I've owned this lens for more than a year and have yet to come up with a single complaint.

Must be in excellent condition and reasonably priced. Please PM me with what you have and what you'd like for it. I do not have much of a budget as I am on SS. Thanks!

I have a Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX-II 11-16mm f/2.8 Lens for Nikon F that I am trying to sell. I only used the lens twice before changing my gear to full frame format and side lining all my APS-C gear. Picture quality and focus speed are excellent. I have all original packaging and literature, and will include 3 77mm filters with pouch for the lens. Used price at B&H is $300.00 plus shipping and no filters. I'm asking $300.00 and will pay shipping (PayPal Only). If interested, I will gladly send pics of the lens and will shoot a few shots with the lens if you would like to evaluate image quality.

Anyone have experience with Promaster GH25 vs Benro GH2- did not want to spend the $$ for Wimberly WH200. any other thoughts. will likely be on a Indurio CLT303 and Nikon D7500 with Tamron 150-600G2 or Nikon 80-200. appreciated

You might want to take a look at the Neewer carbon fiber head. I have been using one for more than a year atop a Benro carbon fiber tripod with my D810 and now my D850 with MBD18 grip and a Sigma 150-600 Sport lens (not exactly a lightweight combo). I experience no slippage and smooth movement. When I purchased mine Neewer was still selling it as a Seven Oak but they are now marketing it strictly as a Neewer. Their description is as follows: "Neewer Professional Heavy Duty Carbon Fiber 360 Degree Panoramic Gimbal Tripod Head with Arca-Swiss Standard 1/4 inch Quick Release Plate and Bubble Level for DSLR Cameras up to 30pounds/13.6kilograms."

I've used the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 for about 2 years now in numerous low light situations such as award ceremonies and high school graduations. I've used it on my D7200 and D810 with great success and now use it as my walk around lens on my D850. Focus on all the cameras I've used it on is fast and accurate, even in low light. I'm certain you'll get a large number of Nikon purists that will attempt to put this lens down but I'll put the results I've gotten up against any of theirs.

A beautiful shot and wonderful story. Thanks for sharing an otherwise unknown piece of history. Pox on all those that have turned your shot and tale into an ignorant political duel.

Nice job. Also notice you adjusted the exposure a bit which gives the image more punch and clarity.

I live in the country and have never seen an owl in the wild. Go figure.
Thanks for sharing your photos with us to enjoy.

This is the first time I've come across them this close to home - generally have to travel to the gulf coast to find burrowing owls in large numbers. Glad you enjoyed.

I esp. Love the 2nd one.

That's also my favorite - that juvenile took its time coming out and then immediately dashed back in when I moved slightly. Glad you enjoyed.
