Excellent work, and I can tell because my wife said "ugg that makes me sick." when I showed her.

The mushroom one reminds me of my younger days, when we did them and this is how everything looked. lol

That was when going organic meant picking shrooms off the cow patties after a good rain.

There are websites that will tilt shift for you but there are plenty of tutorials for Photoshop. I hope they are of some interest.

Thanks again, She really has that vacant stare down, I see it a lot if I start talking about getting a boat. Well I'm gonna have to put on some big boy pants soon and venture out. I've not seen much outside my own posts.

Thanks for the encouragement. Being a photo partner with my wife has been thrilling and frustrating. I know I mentioned it about a thousand times but the last group had theme weeks with each weekday one subject. We had a Alfred Hitchcock week and each day was a different movie. My wife drove me nuts, But I did get to roll her up in plastic sheeting.

This is Ethyl my wife's Prehensile Tailed Skink (not skank) AKA a Monkey Tailed Skink. She is about 30" long and weighs maybe 5-6lbs. She is 16 years old and a vegetarian. Her tail is used like a monkeys and she hangs from a branch in her cage to eat. She is also an accomplished escape artist even though she travels at about 3mph.

Excellent I love the concentrated lighting on her face ... unique and flattering :) great expression too.
yay .. I can actually see him in the doorway ... Well done !
Love them both :)

I'm impressed with the difference !

P.S. This is not a critique.. I was just playing with Topaz plugin for photoshop .... trying to learn how to remove blur ....not that you needed it in these photos ... But I do however need the practice lol.

Thanks, your advice from earlier is what actually made the photo work or at least turned some gears. I'll post the original that went to our group and got raves from them. Looking now it's rather sad I mucked around with the curves and feathered it liberally then dug into the hue/saturation. I'm modestly proud BUT there is plenty of room for improvement

This is as submitted.

Thanks Fifty I will do that. I just came from a group that really was more about the equipment (toys) and kissing bottoms, so I've had enough of that for now. My wife and I were involved in a photo a day group and we have improved but we went as far as you can go when there is too much inbreeding.

Classic Jack Russell with the cigar. Did he take his bourbon neat or on the rocks?

Thanks for the suggestions I do see a real improvement. Number 3 was fun and I can teach you how to levitate coffee cups. Since my wife and I belonged to the same photo group her post was from over my shoulder. It was getting late and the light in our home is very harsh.

The photo from her perspective

I love Hemlocks but we live to far south now so my new favorite is the cypress. The water around them is like black mirrors. I posted the same photo right side up and upside down taken from the waters surface.
