I totally understand it's not a trial. I was born at night, but not last night. Were the Watergate Hearings a trial? Then I guess according to your standards, they shouldn't have taken evidence from both sides?????

If you totally understand it’s not a trial then you totally understand that it’s not at all a question of evidence to convict. Here it is a question of getting to the t***h, to the bottom of what happened. Then after, if it is determined that laws were broken, it’s up to other departments to bring it to trial.

Trump’s supporters have gotten used to the concept that various versions of the t***h are acceptable. No, either something happened or it didn’t. Either something is legal or it’s not. No matter how you try to spin it.

We all know in your case you are not playing stupid. Have you ever examined the timeline of the J*** 6 Capitol incursion?

The Constitutional counting proceedings were not interrupted by it. The written and signed objections by the House and Senate to the v**e count were what was stopped. Let me repeat, the objections to the E*******l v**e, not the counting was stopped.

Maybe that explains why the cops began to waive spectators past the barricades and into the Capitol at that point to stop the objections, not the v**e counting.

I agree with everything said about the Roman concrete, but maybe:

Could be the Roman Pantheon in Rome, finished in 456 AD, still sound; also there are Roman-built aqueducts that are still operating. Still standing due to error my foot. There would be other structures still standing if over the years they were not taken apart in order to use the material for other structures. The Pantheon was spared because it became a Christian church in the early days.

Steve Jobs’ Last Words -

I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world.
In others’ eyes, my life is an epitome of success.

However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the Bullshit.
end, wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to.

At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in, have paled and become meaningless in the face of impending death.

In the darkness, I look at the green lights from the life supporting machines and hear the humming mechanical sounds, I can feel the breath of god of death drawing closer…

Now I know, when we have accumulated sufficient wealth to last our lifetime, we should pursue other matters that are unrelated to wealth…
Should be something that is more important:

Perhaps relationships, perhaps art, perhaps a dream from younger days ...
Non-stop pursuing of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me.

God gave us the senses to let us feel the love in everyone’s heart, not the illusions brought about by wealth.

The wealth I have won in my life I cannot bring with me.
What I can bring is only the memories precipitated by love.
That’s the true riches which will follow you, accompany you, giving you strength and light to go on.

Love can travel a thousand miles. Life has no limit. Go where you want to go. Reach the height you want to reach. It is all in your heart and in your hands.
What is the most expensive bed in the world? - "Sick bed" …

You can employ someone to drive the car for you, make money for you but you cannot have someone to bear the sickness for you.
Material things lost can be found. But there is one thing that can never be found when it is lost – "Life".

When a person goes into the operating room, he will realize that there is one book that he has yet to finish reading – "Book of Healthy Life".

Whichever stage in life we are at right now, with time, we will face the day when the curtain comes down.

Treasure Love for your family, love for your spouse, love for your friends...

Treat yourself well. Cherish others.

(This may or may not be his last words. However they are worth sharing. I didn't do extensive research on this.)

No issues? No issues? He passed a minimal cognitive test and thought it was an intelligence test, and bragged about it. As the doctors said at the time, in that case it was an intelligence test—proof of lack of it.

He doesn’t have to worry about losing his marbles, he doesn’t have many to begin with.

Biden does not have dementia, he obviously knows what he is saying and makes more sense than that ignorant bag of bulls**t Trump. Trump started calling Biden feeble and slow because Trump has no other argument so he always makes it a personal attack. You believe everything that Don the Con says.

And if you’re stupid enough to believe what you see on Fox News, I can tell you that all one has to do to make someone to appear to be mumbling is to turn down their volume, or to use the audio to make the message somewhat unintelligible.

Rename the EJECTION? What on earth are you talking about?

You want not whining then start with Hillary who is most likely whining and b***hing about every excuse in the world for her losing the E******N except for her own idiocy and c***ting during the primaries. Maybe take a look at Stacy Abrams who still tells us the Gubernatorial e******n was s****n. Yet you do not ever bring up those two Democrats for their whining and crying. Why don't you just admit you are a closet Left Winger and stop trying to hide that fact. Come out of the closet and pledge allegiance to Schumer, Pelosi and the C*******t Party. You will feel better inside.

You obviously take what people say at face value. That some people or sides are totally to be believed and that the others are always wrong. Do facts ever enter in? Yes, we can say Hillary won as far as the popular v**e; but our country goes by the e*******l college, so we accepted that Trump was the President. But to say that T***p w*n this last e******n defies all proof, logic, common sense.

By the way, according to you at least we on the left have a variety of basis for our allegiances, you have only one—wh**ever the orange fuhrer says.

Tell us WTF a real Conservative is. Is it defined by what you think it is, by what I think it is, somewhere in the middle? Liz Cheney is in a position to support the Republican Party. Again, apparently you think that is the Republican Party you want but not necessarily what 74 other million people might want.

It seems your side is putting up no fight at all to save the 1st, 2nd and 4th Amendments from Biden's party changing or eliminating them altogether. MY side of the Republican Party wants strict adherence to the Bill of Rights, the first 10 Amendments that give us our basic freedoms.

My basic concern with the so called Republicans here is that neither you, DaveO, anybody else who tells us they are strict Republicans, has not once stood up AGAINST anything Biden has done/is doing. Not once have you spoken up. So tell me/us where the hell are the strong Republicans here in The Attic? I hear you all b***h about those of us who supported Trump and thought he did a good job but no b***hing about Biden's loss of jobs etc. When do you become strong Republicans? Do you honestly LIKE what Biden is doing? It seems so by your silence.

Dennis

If you are going to follow Trump get your facts straight. He did say that he would defend the Bill of Rights all the way to Number 17. Those lying lefties claim there are only ten, and those are the only ones they care about.

I don’t think you know what lying is. Or what a true conservative is. You self-styled righties mention one wrong thing Maxine Waters did or Obama did or what left-wing i**********nists did in (good grief) 1983, and you base your conclusions on that. And yet when it came to Trump’s deliberate lies there are too many to mention. The man never told the t***h. Plus his assault on our form of government is non-ending.

And conservative? Ronald Reagan and William F. Buckley are turning over in their graves.

I have said before, today in fact, I do not believe that ONLY Trump supporters want our country to be in better shape. But I do believe Trump was on the right path and Biden is completely on the wrong path. Because the Democrats h**ed to see their Queen Bee, Hillary beaten by a commoner they h**ed Trump from the get go. Surely you are aware that Maxine Waters, that pillar of dog crap, said before Trump took office that he would be impeached. Can anything spell HATRED as much as that statement. But now you bring up some i***tic thing that McConnell said about this administration. WTF was your problem when Maxine Waters made her comment? Are you ever, any of you, going to be able to recognize your own hypocrisy when it comes to Trump.

According to the Left Wingers here in The Attic, his worst problems, those most often pointed out, was he wanted two scoops of ice cream, his orange hair and Melania wearing the wrong shoes to tour a flood area. Of course she only wore high heels on the helicopter while enroute to the flood area and then changed into more suitable clothing for the actual tour. But that fact was never brought up by any of you nor the MSM. It was all about making Trump look bad no matter the cause.

Biden has already started lying. Has anyone started a count? Did anybody start a count when Obama the sham/s**m artist lied about healthcare, the biggest lies ever told by a President. Nope, not one person started a count. But you all did for Trump. Can there be any more hypocritical hatred for anybody from any political party than the Left has for President Trump. Hell, according to all of you the man never did one good thing while in office even though there numerous things he did. But leave it up to you small minded hypocrites to continue your lies.

What is your definition of a Conservative? Are you going to school us? I can hardly wait. Ye who Know so little about it.

To illustrate what an illustrious true Bodie-type Conservative Trump is let’s break down Duke Tarheels post.

Like Cheyenne Bodie, Trump “spends most of the nights under the stars,” —as you can plainly see, a night in the woods under the stars is something Trump obviously much prefers over his palatial home in Mar-a-Lago. “He is respectful of traditions,”—just look at how gracefully he handled the t******r of p***r. “He pays his debts”—Trump’s record of promptly paying his debts—to contractors, etc. is well-known.

“He’s loyal to the many friends he’s made”—can you think of anyone Trump has thrown under the bus?

And truest of all, “He is a veteran of many conflicts, though not as a uniform-wearing soldier.” Trump was eager to take part in any conflict, except of course, that which involved the draft.
