It appears almost all being the same, the XPS wouls cost about $300.00 more that the Alienware desktop.

I stated the $1200-$1500 price range to reference the listed components - gpu, cpu, ram, etc -such desktop pcs may have. I understand that the more expensive desktop pcs have a lot more powerful everything and was/am wondering if: in this case, if an ALIENWARE AURORA R16 GAMING DESKTOP, with 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700F (54MB, 16 cores, 24 threads, up to 5.20 GHz P-Core Turbo Max 3.0)

I recently replaced my home pc and have yet to reinstall canon pro-100 to new pc (cannot find the install disk). The original install - I thought - went well until my first and consequential prints from Windows and PS CC alike. So, I go exploring for answers online. Come to find I was not the only one experiencing the darkened prints issue. Perhaps (I thought) that is why Canon was practically giving the pro-100s away for $200.00 and packs of free print media.

By the way- the purchase was via B&H in New York City, the Christmas holiday time just before the pandemic.
My exploration for answers has led me various sites, forums, Canon support, and the print expert on Facebook, Jtoolman Photo Printing Techie. While there at Jtoolman, another member was selling his pro-100, so I asked him why he was selling the printer, but he never responded.

Before I reinstall the printer to new pc I will review Jose's videos again and follow to the letter.

Yes, I specifically purchased a spider X Pro to calibrate monitor.

Not getting much from Canon. I cannot get it to print normal prints no matter what media or profiles. What I mean by "Normal," is basically not darkened prints. In search for assistance, guidance, and perhaps someone in New York City area with knowledge and experience with Canon Pixma Proo 100, with pc functions and settings. Canon paper and inks are always used.

Canon PIXMA IP4000 Photo Inkjet Printer worked well for family for over ten years- with downloaded drivers and updates- connected and printed great pics. I thought the update to print larger sized photos with the Pixma Pro 100 would be fun not frustrating.

I am tired of searching and posting for directions and answers (Yet here I am- not giving up).

To borrow from Missouri's U.S. Congressman Willard Duncan Vandiver, who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1897 to 1903, " . . . frothy eloquence neither convinces nor satisfies me. I am from Missouri. You have got to show me."

Can someone show me - set my printer to work?
