I use Whitewall - they are actually in Germany but turnaround is pretty quick. Quality is terrific. I send all my stuff there, and can pretty much do any size you want. Their website is whitewall.com.

I have been shooting in jpeg format and wanting to switch over to raw. Question is what editting program do I use if I don't want to pay a fee every month to use plus the initial cost. I find this quite annoying. We pay for a program then have to make a monthly payment just to use something already paid for so that we can get updates once every few months. The amount we have to pay for a program the updates should be free. Now that I am done bitching what's the best program for a Canon shooter that uses a Imac computer and Pixma pro 100 for my printing.

I use Canon's own programme, which you can download free from their website. I think it's excellent, and I use it almost every day. It's called Digital Photo Professional.
Thanks all for the help. I may have to re-think. The BenQ monitor I have in mind is the 24-inch one, SW240 I think.
I have my eyes on a BenQ 10-bit monitor, but I'm pretty sure my laptop won't power it/run it/whatever you want to call it. So, any recommendations for an inexpensive hardware set-up to run it properly?
Thanks
Just getting back into taking pictures again, after about 10 years. Was once semi-pro (i.e. selling pictures as a sideline), and I loved LaCie monitors back in the CRT days. So, as an amateur, suggestions for a good monitor? I think it has to be able to be calibrated, and I don't want to be talking about daft money (to me $750 or above). Anyone have any experience with LaCie monitors? And am I right that few people sell them any more, and they seem to be awfully expensive? So, I'm open to any make, ad I'd really appreciate suggestions - obviously the less money the better!!
