the way we love
is magical
soft
embracing souls
entwined
ethereally dancing
upon this
moss covered stage
where infinity rules
for she is both
benevolent and just
touching
each of our shoulders
with this blade
hewn of tenderness
granting dreams
come true

I find your concept very interesting and I think I would have an easier time taking a beautiful Photograph and then putting into a beautiful Poem what the Photograph makes me feel and putting that into Words,,,,to me it would be much harder to put my feelings into a beautiful Poem and then try to make a Photograph to match those feelings,,,it could be done either way and maybe either way works equally well for You,,,,Excellent Work You are Joining two Skill Sets where a lot of us on this Forum Love but have difficulty mastering one !!!

Thank you for your kindness. It DOES actually work both ways. Happy winter solstice💕

Please don't remove. Give it another go. This is a learning site and sometimes when we are brave enough to be different we might take a bit of criticism that feels crushing. Heads up and onward with what we individually love. Consider the good advice and let the rest go. Hope you post many times in future. Sandy
Thank you for your kindness, Sandy. I will continue to try with the photography. 💕
If these barren arms,
shivering branches outstretched,
reach for you when you’ve gone away,
you’ll say, “Hush baby,
it’s only a few heartbeats
in eternity’s scheme.”
But branches know not time,
only the sensation of trembling limbs,
leafless,
even naked
without your glorious colors.
So hurry home, my heart.
Hurry home, to dress these branches
in the warm poetry of your love.
Absolutely amazing. I never tire of catching a glimpse of them and here you are with these fabulous shots! Wonderful💕

I like the photo it goes with the mood in the poem. Did you write the poem? It is beautiful
I did write the poem. Thank you for your lovely comments. I tried to remove it, though, after a previous post when a member said that my photo distracted from the poem because of its poor quality. I appreciate you for being so kind💕

Love the poem! Can't see the image too well.
Thank you. I tried to remove the post but can’t seem to find a way to get it completely deleted.

I'm with Edie on this one. The poetry outdoes the photograph. The photograph has exposure and contrast issues which distract from the serenity of the scene.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll remove it.
I’m in love with this trembling
that happens when I think of you
when I sit and stare
into nothingness
where everything is hidden
beyond the remains
of the grays
and purples
where there are only
heartbeats
not knees
not legs
for standing is impossible
never mind the transcendent
moonlight beneath your skin
where the poetry begins
so, deep within my soul
I’m in love with this trembling
