Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Pete Townshend, The Who.
I've owned the TG-5 for 2 years and love it. Really fun and practical. Don't hesitate.
Best Buy has specific sites called Camera Experience stores. They are usually staffed with clerks that know something about photography and have a large inventory on display. My metro area has many BB store and two of them are branded Experience.
I have it and I love it. A "don't worry, be happy" camera.
Same with my Olympus cameras. BBF shuts of in Auto.
I'll also recommend the Olympus TG-5. It's a gem of a travel camera. Lots of fun.
I love my Olympus TG5. No anxiety, just fun. I use it in my canoe and kayak with a floating strap.
I just bought a TG-5 from Ritz camera on EBay for $418.00. That included a floating strap, 32 mg memory card and a bunch of other stuff I probably won't use, but you might like it. Also, EBay had a coupon going at the time, so I got 15% off the whole thing, with free shipping.
I just signed on last night and was overwhelmed by the choices. I'm thinking of using the Olympus OMD tutorial as a starting point.
