One goat clearly has all the "bling". Lucky girl!
Great shot. Ditto on some of the processing comments. It looks like you captured 2 satellites or maybe meteors, near the left gable. Cool.
Always love your shots. May I ask where you stayed? Did you camp or stay in a town? I'd like to plan a trip there and would appreciate any tips. Thanks.
#4 and #5 appear to be in the style of Paul Cezanne, a contemporary and friend of Monet's. Many artists collected each other's works. I have not yet had a chance to visit there, but it would not surprise me if Monet's collection at his home would include others such as his good friend Renoir. Cezanne's style inspired Picasso to invent cubism. He is considered the bridge from Impressionism to Cubism in the evolution of art styles. #6 is more Monet's style, but I have never seen it before in books. I enjoy all your pix. Thanks.
Love the pic. Last time I was there it was encased in scaffold.
Zion: If you're wealthy stay in Springdale. For a 15 minute drive you can save 1/2 or more. The La Quinta Inn at La Verkin is only a year old, free breakfast buffet and great rooms.
From Moab to Zion the scenic route is Hiway 24 to Torrey. On the way stop at Goblin Valley State Park and there's good food at Duke's Slickrock Grill in Hanksville. At Torrey take Hiway 12 through Escalante to Bryce then Zion, stopping off at Kodakchrome Basin State Park. Fantastic scenic route!
I greatly enjoyed your entire travelogue. Thanks!
Great pix and info! Thanks.
I enjoy your travelogue and pix. Thanks.
#3 for me. Lighter lights contrasted with the dark column.
Very interesting. I enjoyed the layers.
