Well, folks....thanks to all who participated and looked. Our earth is certainly a resilient, remarkable place filled with so many cultures, traditions, terrain and people groups. I'm grateful for my UHH "people group". This is my finale for this challenge. Enjoy your environment and think about how much it enriches your life. By sharing yours, I've been inspired, refreshed, and found great pleasure in visiting your slice of earth. My last image I thought made for an appropriate ending. I spotted it on a Portland side street yesterday.

I failed to see all the bottles that the gentleman had retrieved. I hope he has somehow been shown how thankful others are for his efforts.

WOW. That's amazingly horrible☹😢😢 It always amazes me when I find waste out in the woods. Also find it up and down the sides of our road.
Again in Egypt (Luxor as I remember), they had a waterway that was FILLED with refuse. I didn't take pictures, thinking I only wanted to take the wondrous, but afterwards, I wish I had. Certainly would have completed the story.😢😢

Many of these were taken 2 weeks ago in Indiana with my Samsung tablet. The trash is a reminder, and the last one was from California in Muir Woods.

Roxie P. 11 We must remember to celebrate this earth's beauty!! Thanks for posting!!

Thanks all for sharing your Earth Week finds. ❗️👍👍👍❗️ I’ve enjoyed viewing them all. I took a walk to our mail box yesterday and found this growing in a neighbor’s planting area. Ok, I missed this for the Purple challenge, but hey, it’s growing in good earth, and the challenge is Earth Week🤠❗️❗️

P. 11 I love your positivity!!!

P. 11 Looks like smog too. I was in Cairo in 2013. It was smoggy there back then.

Rust is everywhere and in varied stages of decomposing. Balance that with the exuberance of people enjoying what nature provides. And a childhood memory.

Life/nature/earth continues on but I become hopeful that it all doesn't eventually come to an end.

P. 1 I guess there can be beauty even with these fires.

I took a slightly different approach, focusing on how the 'Earth' impacts us...

If we take care of the Earth, it enables us to fill our lives with beauty

These may have been posted somewhere before, but the lesson still stands ⭐⭐⭐

P. 5 So true and these are wondrous pictures of that beauty that will continue with our collective care.
