I think I may have seen him in a movie with a bunch of Vampires. LOL

I hope he is not a werewolf! He lives inside the house!

My hat is off to both the artist who painted this critter, and to you for the fun images out in your woods. Crossing the creek, with the reflection is just way too cool.

I like that picture too, I just wish I was able to bring out more detail on the wolf.

I was able to get this wolf at auction in Abingdon VA. The artist that painted the wolf is Nadya Warthen-Gibson. She has a studio at the William King museum in Abingdon. I took him out to the woods to snap a few pictures of him.

I like #3, the profile shot!

Thank you! I have taken a lot of pictures and examined a lot of pictures since I took this one and now I can see that the focus fell on the gun rather than the face.

Only thing I really notice is the hem on the brunettes shirt is flipped up. Maybe it is supposed to be like that but if not it may be fixable with some really good cloning. Great looking bunch!

The local mental health association where i teach a photography group at, did the same thing with really large ceramic sea turtles as a fundraiser. All over vero beach you can find them outside of businesses and organizations. Went over real well. I may have photos of some of the turtles. if you like i could search and post them.

That would be great if you could find them. If you do send me a pm so I don't miss em. Thanks!

These are from Abingdon Virginia where the Highlands festival is in full swing. These painted wolves are part of a fund raiser for the arts in the city. Area businesses buy the wolves and decorate them. Then, they are auctioned off. They have 38 this year. Here are a few.

What a cool idea!! I should tell our local arts council about this.Amazing talents!!!

Naples did that some years ago using Alligators as the subject.... Went over really well and made some good bucks... "If" I remember it, I will take some pics of a few of them....

I live in Lexington NC and we are quite proud of our BBQ. We do this with pigs and they are very popular. Hope you get some alligator pics. Post them if you do!

Excellent series, well done. Makes me want to visit.

Less than six hours from JFK! I don't know why more people don't vacation in Iceland. I guess the name makes you think of cold and snow but it is around 60 degrees in July. It was a nice break from the 100 degree days we have had here in the Carolinas.
