Real question: if a mass of air approaching a windmill contains a fixed amount of potential and kinetic energy, and as it passes the windmill gives up some of the energy to turn the blades of the windmill, will the temperature be lower downwind? Or will the pressure in the mass be reduced? What changes in the air occur while energy is extracted from it.
Amazing bird! Amazing photo. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty short. I will get there the afternoon of the 30th and leave on the 3rd early morning. I would stay in Corte Madera. I like to see the presidio, the bridge, the red wood trees and of course the wharf. I've been there several times but only on business so didn't have much time to see. This time is for pleasure but I don't have much time off.
I'd suggest Muir Woods (giant redwoods) Golden Gate Park if you like gardens, Pier 39 for tourists and seals, and the Tadich Grill for apetrale sole lunch. Enjoy!
Very nice. I like the blue flare too.
I love those photos! Expert work
Beautiful photos. Nice set!

I wouldn't say so this is a practice shot taken yesterday with my D500 and Nikon 80-400mm lens.
Nice shot! Can anyone tell us what the line of spots left of the center are? I got similar spots in a trial this morning.
I'd highly recommend saving some of your money for art classes. Composition, drawing, and photography should be useful in your photographic development. Communication is essential too. Understanding your clients requirements and objectives will improve the likelihood of your success.

Interesting question. The solar filter i use allows sufficient light to find the sun. Might try this. Get a cheap pair of solar glasses (B&H/Amazon). Use these with the camera filter off of the lens. Locate the image through your viewfinder, then attach the solar lens. Maybe???
Do this and you may destroy your camera. The sun inside the unfiltered lens will focus like a magnifying glass on your shutter or sensor. The heat can cause a fire inside.
I like it. Lighting the underside of the hat, and shooting against the dark background is very dramatic. Well done!
I've had a 70D for a year. Shoot mostly with kit 18-135. Very happy. My photos are improving every month. And the camera is still the same. UHH is a help as is some other reading. David Busch has a book on the 70D.
My son was one of 150 students receiving a Governor's award in High School. One by one, each shook the Gov's hand and a "photographer" took the photo. Two weeks later it was announced there were no photos. Had I known, I'd have taken the photo. No second chances. 😖
Fire up MS Excel on your computer. Have line items for your hours, assistant hours, travel hours, photo hours, post processing hours, and expenses.
Consider your art education, training and experience and your competition's rates for these activities, and assign hourly rates for each type of work. Extend the hours x rate for line totals.
Include travel, meals, per diem, gas, expendables, mileage, and all your output materials such as paper, ink, postage, etc. Add an overhead cost for rent, legal services, phone, utilities, and any other expenses (outside processing). Add it all together and then add 15% for a contingency.
