Actually the race car will seem much faster. Speeding in the race car will provide visual cues that you won’t get in a jet at altitude. The track, pits and other equipment as you pass them in a flash will give you visually and audibly an enhanced sense of speed. Except for takeoffs and landing, you get no such sense of speed in a jet other then the decreasing miles showing on the DME or similar nav gear.
