[quote=TriXwhite noise [/quote]

White noise in and while using earphones is good for blocking or reducing the pain of dental procedures.

But if you want to experience a thrill, you can go to a NASCAR track and book a racecar experience for a couple hundred bucks! At ground level 140 mph will seem just as fast as a jet at 45,000 ft.

Actually the race car will seem much faster. Speeding in the race car will provide visual cues that you won’t get in a jet at altitude. The track, pits and other equipment as you pass them in a flash will give you visually and audibly an enhanced sense of speed. Except for takeoffs and landing, you get no such sense of speed in a jet other then the decreasing miles showing on the DME or similar nav gear.

In the near future this may not be true as each part will be linked to that car (device) and only a dealer part will work.

This is why I will drive used cars only.

Joe,

Are you starting a weekly challenge?

I would love to participate here but 70 degree temps do not give the impression of winter. I will have to see what I can come up with or perhaps wait for next weeks challenge.

One does not have to be a thief to recognize that thieves exist.

Took my wife and daughter to I-hop for breakfast. When it was time to pay I asked the waitress how much she wanted for a tip … She was quiet for a while and said $100.00. So that’s what I gave her.

How times have changed. I was a busboy at a nice restaurant in 1970. A waitress received an $8 tip. She was ecstatic. Word of the tip quickly traveled to all waiters, busboys and others.
At the time eight bucks was a lot of money. (You could buy a baseball glove, or 30 gallons of gas for your car. (Assuming gas was .25 cents a gallon).

I look at it this way: I’m happy I can still get there! And being poked and prodded isn’t always that bad…it reminds me that I still have some feelings. Oh, and the best part is I’ll say or do something the nurse/technician can’t wait to tell their friends about😳😂

Tell a medical related joke such as this:
An elderly couple went to a hospital to see a doctor. The husband was quite ill.
After answering questions about his illness the doctor said he a needed urine sample, a blood sample and a stool sample.

The husband’s hearing was weak as well. He turned to his wife and asked what did the doctor say? She answered: Give him your underwear.

Certainly beats I395 going to DC, I405 into LA, and the Chuo Expressway into Tokyo, unless you like staring at red brake lights for hours…

The image is not realistic as the planes are also vertically separated with different altitudes. FYI aircraft above 18,000 ft have a 2,000 ft separation.

Number two - is superb. I am writing this on a 10 year-old MacBook Pro. I'm thinking about getting a new Mac with the M1 chip. My first Mac was also the original Mac in 1984.

If it is new to you, you have no settings to save. Try a 2 button reset to factory specs. Link https://dslrpro.net/cameras/nikon-d90/nikon-d90-settings/nikon-d90-two-button-reset/
