An analysis of my photos has identified poor composition as a major weakness. Is there any possibility of installing a grid onto the viewfinder of my Nikon D 3100? In my earlier model Nikons (film types) I could replace the viewing glass with one that had etched grid markings. Is this possible with my Nikon?

Indeed, my Nikon F's preceded my current 3200. Haven't had the time as yet, but I plan to see if I can somehow coordinate a light-meter reading with my "dumb" lenses. If anyone has had any experience in this, I'd appreciate hearing from them.
And how about the Nikon F2AS and the F1. These 35mm film machines gave me tons of good photographs around the world in all weather conditions. I hold on to them primarily for the memories they evoke.
