Nikon D7000 should be a good choice, Keep the D200 for back up. It is still a good camera.
The last one would do better in my club because it has a catchlight in eye. This one works best for me.
They escaped, but it took about 10 minutes to get the bull out of the area and into the pen.
Maybe I can work on the hand. Thks
Thank you for the observations and comments, Jimmie
The b+w works for me as well. The other photo still lacking.
I am planning on submitting the image in a club competition where the judges are hypercritical and am just looking for a different groups comments. Thanks
I would like a general critique other than..like/ not like.
Thank you, jimmie

I am partial to Cardinals, Like all of your great images.
Our club changed the procedure slightly by acknowledging with a receipt issued immediately to the email and by allowing entry at the meeting. Is your concern only about your images not being judged?

Would love to see the whole horse.
Here is a little humor for you. Jimmie
Thanks for your input. We have responders in our club and have had this discussion.
The images were taken with the forethought of not identifying the patient and only the scene at hand showing responders in action. I am also aware of the recent law passed in New Jersey, as you probably are. In recent times ppaparazzi types are increasingly putting a bad twist on our profession. I appreciate your service but abhor my rights being put to task. Jimmie
Nikon D700, 70-200 with 1.4 extender at about 300mm
This may have happened to you. What would you do?
I was recently photo gathering at a local horse show when an unfortunate event took place. One of the horses was spooked and ran off into a crowd. A young lady was injured attempting to corral the animal. Ambulance crew and first responders were called to render first aid and remove the injured party.
I wandered over to the area and was observing the events from a distance of approximately 25 yards. I decided to photograph the responders in action from my vantage point to have a photo to enter in my Camera Club Monthly Contest. As I raised my camera and pointed at the scene
an irate responder rushed in my direction waving his hand yelling " NO PICTURES-NO PICTURES, YOU RE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES".
Well, I did. And much yelling on his part and threatening to call the police, I invited him to do just that. I also asked him to find out what laws were being violated and in what manner I was causing any interference from my location.
More.. I was threatened to have my equipment destroyed.
My resonse was if he could afford the $7000.00 to replace it and for them(By that time he had help) and to spend jail time for assault
