Several years ago I purchased a Nikon D7200 (my first “good” camera) in anticipation of a Viking River cruise on the Rhine in Germany. An illness interrupted the trip. Since then I can’t seem to be motivated to use my good camera. I know this sounds elementary, but I sure would appreciate any thoughts and tips on how to get “motivated”. Thanks.
I really enjoyed the in depth discussion on “recommendation for a small travel camera”. I was especially interested in the discussion and description of the Sony RX100 VI. I was curious about cost. I found what I consider the most reputable camera dealers and they all had the camera priced exactly the same...$1,198. I then found other dealers that had priced the same camera from $549-$799. Two of the dealers did describe the camera as an “import Model”. Any advice or thoughts?

Have you looked at Acer?
I am not in the market for a new computer but just wanted to say that this entire discussion about laptops is valuable. Thanks for al the input.
You confirmed my suspicions! Thanks. It’s HP CARTRIDGES for me.
I use two (2) HP printers. Since retiring, I tend to pay more attention to costs. I have always bought OEM HP ink. Now, I am considering “refill cartridges” and/or “compatible cartridges”. They are much less expensive! Any thoughts?

I am new at photography. Just want say that I enjoyed your question but I especially enjoyed the responses/answers. Very educational! Thanks.
Thanks so much for your reply.
Thanks for all of the great replies! I checked out the Silk 700 Pro and it appears to be the best deal for someone new to photography. Have any of you had any experience with UBeesize 60” camera tripod? It is one of Amazon’s “choice” selections.
I am relatively new to hobby photography. I have a Nikon D7200. I am interested in landscape, wildlife, etc. photography. I want a good tripod. I am on a “retiree” budget. Any recommendations? Thanks.
This discussion on teaching photography confirms the reasons why I have this Blog on my phone and computer...outstanding information! I am fairly new at photography. I took a comprehensive photography course at a museum of art in Virginia. This discussion in this blog taught me more in 5 minutes than the expensive course! Thanks for sharing this information.
I bought a new computer (Lenono all-in-one desktop) and worked very late last night to reload PSP PRO X9. I kept getting a “Script” error after it loaded. I did a lengthy chat and did several updates that were recommended. We could never resolve the issue! I removed PSP and loaded a free GIMP program. I am very new at photo editing so using some of this stay at home time to work through some of the GIMP tutorials.
Great in formation. Thanks. My Paint Shop is X9 Ultimate. I will spend this rainy day looking at the on-line tutorials!
I noticed that your location is Pinopolis, SC. I lived in Pinopolis (Land-O-Pines) from 1971-1988. Still love that location!
