I have an OM-1, an OM -1n and an OM-2n that John Hermanson rebuilt (he doesn't just CLA them) and all three are perfect.

The "1" with a grey Griptac skin John applied is my favorite film camera.

I confess to avidly reading this list for the past several years and enjoying it.

I'm another old timer... been trying to take good pictures since the mid - 1940's.

U.S.Army vet/photog (SCARWAF a Korean era S/O) then 40+ years on major
newspapers: Chicago Sun-Times, Miami Herald, Seattle Times, Washington Times.
Photog, editorial cartoonist, columnist, feature writer, marketing, and management.

Now on-call substitute teacher in local elementary and middle schools, writing
and illustrating books for kids, and trying to adapt to the digital lifestyle.

FWIW I've been active on both the Olympus Users site and RFF for many years.

Enjoying life in a little town just off the beautiful Chesapeake Bay in Sunny (usually) Southern Maryland.
