We were in Turkey for two weeks in 2002 and spent only two days in Cappadocia. It was fantastic and defies definition! Underground cities and cities carved into volcanic mountains, hot springs and much much more! I took lots of video footage plus slides.
One of my greatest experiences in photography was in a hot air balloon over the Austrian Alps. It lifted off near Salzburg and drifted across the Salzkammergut, better known as the Sound of Music Country. Seeing fog from the distance, resting between mountains and then cascading into the next valley like a waterfall, watching morning mist rise from the 73 lakes, all of which all have drinking water quality dotted with tiny sailing yachts are just a few of the highlights. Sorry, but most of my photos have not yet been digitized! One thought that I had viewing your wonderful pictures was what if any of those balloons landed on one of the many sharp spires?
[The new owners converted my childhood home from a one-story to a two-story.]
"...when I, asked if I could come in and look around, they said only in the first story while they were using the upper story. I will never return."
60 years ago on March 9th 1963 we got married and then spent 38 years in Europe! To call USA I had to spell out my name using common German first names for each letter of the alphabet as given on a chart. Imagine spelling "Kansas City Missouri" plus the person's name and street address with that chart. After that you had to hang up and wait until the operator got through and called back. Often the operator didn't know English. As you can imagine we didn't call unless it was an emergency! I also had to consider the six hour difference in time.
I almost always have my Lumix mirrorless and the pancake 1:1.7 with me and I estimate that 2/3 of the photos I shoot are with that combination. We visit the Philadelphia flower show almost every year and indoor photos usually need a tripod or flash, which distorts the colors. The weight doubles when I use a tele lens. I am webmaster for a number of websites and don't need huge photos for these.
The camera is lightweight and the lens is hardly noticeable like most cell-phones. It appears to be an ancient camera and People often ask where I get my film developed, So there is less likelihood of someone stealing it.

I think you nailed it!
We have a yellow witch hazel bush in the yard in New Jersey that is surrounded by purple crocus. The Witch Hazel blooms in early February and the Crocus about a week or two later. People ask how we get our "Forsythia" to bloom so early!
I have trouble after nearly ALL MS updates! I don't recall any update being needed due to problems.
I've been getting the UHH newsletter for a while now, but don't know how, where, or when I signed up for it. Registered for the forum yesterday.[/quote]
Welcome to the forum from a member in Malaga, SJ. I have learned much from so many and at 83 I am still learning!
That is a switch - a sailboat waiting for the bridge to close!
I loved this set, but as my wife always says, "I am never satisfied with good." I did a little Photo-shopping on your first picture to fit my own tastes. You could write a children's story to go with these!
I am getting some ideas for my Roadmaster Sr. and Jr.
