Hello to all. I have been an active daily follower of the group since joining a few years ago. I have learned a lot from all the question and answers, discussions as well as critiques of the many beautiful photo submitted. Glad to be on board.

I have had several Nikon camera models since my first "F" in the mid 60's and have never seen the embossed "US" on any body as shown in the photo. This is on a model F4s. I have left a message on Nikon's Customer Service voicemail for an explanation but have not received a return call. I appreciate and thank all replies to my query.
