Your accumption is incorrect. I do not have the “kit”. I purchased the camera separate from my other lens. I usually research and as ask opinions from usually people on this page for advice. The people here have years of experience and give great advice on items.
I have not looked at any lens yet. Would like to get opinions first then decide. Usually a general purpose use. Like recommendations for wide and ultra wide. Having both information this can help me decide on which to get.

We recently went to the Outer Banks and I took my Nikon D7200. I just purchased this camera a couple months ago, so I sm still learning. I wanted a pictures of the pelicans flying over the water. I ONLY took the camera out to take a few pictures on the beach then put it back in the house. So, when I looked at the pictures later, they were not as clear as I wanted. I used a Nikon 70-300 Len . Should I be using another len? May have been just the settings. Opinions will be helpful

I am looking to upgrade from my D5100. I am looking at either the D7100 or D7200. Honestly, my budget would prefer the D7100. But will go with the D7200 if the price is right.
