Yes. The finer the steel wool the better in my opinion. The 0000 or 000 grade is what I prefer.

Yes unfortunately there has been a few structures that were burned down due to neglect people spinning steel wool. It takes a lot of planning and good sense when doing this.

Sure. I use a handle with a cable attached that can free spin. Add a cooking whisk, light on fire and spin away. Ill set my camera on 30 or 45 sec exposure. ISO 100 f13 for most.

Thank you very much. These are straight out of the camera. One day I'm going to learn how to edit and really make them pop

I'm very interested. Can you check and see how much shipping to 71225 would be.

Does all this mean if I am in the market for a medium format camera such as these, I need to purchase now and not wait around?

Yes i have the Lightningbug trigger and use it with my Nikon D7200. It works really well with cloud to cloud lightning, especially if it is a daytime storm. Although if there is mostly cloud to ground lightning in a storm with mostly quick single bolts and it is nighttime, I will choose to go old school and do continuous 3-5 sec. exposures.
