With everything happening in the world today, now more than ever, we need to make straight the path of the Lord. Pray for discernment and strength in these difficult times.

A very nice photograph. The Light from the Sun on the clouds is from the same direction as on the trees, as shown by their shadow. in like manner, our lives should be a light to the world around us.

I was thinking about an old song this morning. "How Wonderful Heaven Must Be". Some pictures came to mind. The First one represents my wife and I now, and the second one represents what we will be like there.

Hi Bill, Your first picture looks similar to my wife and I - she went ahead of me ten years ago. Now she is waiting for me to join her - as in picture two.

Hi,

There are two locations - Paradise is here on earth - after a time here, he went up to Heaven. The Rapture is when Jesus comes back for those God has given him.

Just before the trumpet sounds... AI Image.

Hello Bill, You are bringing 'New Life' to this SIG. Most photo's are very good, and give 'information' while in yours, there is what I can only call "Feeling'.

The Crucifixion.

Hi Bill, This is very good - so much scripture included in the pictrue itself. Please keep them coming.

It's okay. That's the reason I submitted the question about objections to AI content in the Christian section before I submitted the first picture. I will not submit any more AI images in the future, so not to worry. Thanks to those who did not object.

Hi Bill, Rather sad, especially as companies advertising their new photograph editors are emphasizing their AI capability.

I sort of object to AI unless it is stated up front that's what it is. As long as you admit it's AI, I'm ok with it.

Hello AzPicLady. This has an interesting conflict. The AI-Art SIG wants Art not a Photograph while the Christian photo SIG wants photographs, not Art.

I am doing some religious images with AI and it appears they are not welcome in the AI Art section of UHH. I am wondering if there would be objections to AI art in this section. Comments please. I have one called Agony of the Christ. It even one person objects, then I will not intrude. Thank you!

Hi Bill,
In Christianity you will always find people who object. This is why, in America, there are about 200 church denominations and 40,000 world wide. What you see here are pictures that represent the very few areas that they agree on, and the reason there is so little activity. I suggest that you put it in, along with a description of what the picture is trying to say.

Nice photography. Beautiful structure!

Nice photography. Beautiful structure

Hello, thanks for the compliment. I am not a 'photographer' as such, I used the camera in research work and know how use a camera to take a picture of what I can see (and sometimes of what I cannot see). These Trier photo's were taken after my wife died, 9 years ago, and I took a visit to see my granddaughter in Germany. Still really miss having her by my side.

This is a photo looking up just inside the gate house.

Thanks, at my age I need to. The Roman Caesar spent a lot of time there and there are a lot of other interesting buildings.

This is the Gatehouse to Trier.

Hi joecichjr, Thanks for the kind word. Just as impressive is the sense of peace sitting inside.

Hello - is anyone there? This SIG is getting as empty as the churches.

This is Trier Cathedral in Germany on market day - as it has been for hundreds of years.

Happy Easter. Nice to have a series of photo's - gives a better idea of what it is really like. I looked up the website to find more about it.

St Cyril's, Danville, PA

Hi Architect,
A very good photo taken from that distance. Nice camera too. It got my interest so I looked it up - this is a 'cleaned up' photo from their website info: It is a convent school. Has students from all over the world.

Sadly, there is not much activity in this Sig. There is the occasional photo with a quote - but nothing in the way of discussion as in other area's.
