Well I've reach the point in life when it's time to hang up the 9 to 5 work mode. I was first interested in serious photography on my trip to Europe in 1970. Used a Kodak instamatic, which I still have, boxed up, and my Uncle was showing me his SLR setup. Needless to say when I got back to the US, I was hooked. Got a Mamiya Sekor 500, 28mm, and a 135mm with the 2x lense adapter, plus all the darkroom equipment. I took 2 semesters in collage of photography, and just ran amok with my camera, shooting everything. I loved that camera, it was by far better than the Yashica and Minolta.
Now that I'll have more time to devote to photography, I'll need to find a decent scanner that can do slides and prints. As to digitize my boxes of prints and slides.
That's the game plan for now and a new camera setup, but trying to decide either DSLR or mirrorless..
