Grandma (Dixie), baby (Phaedra), and daddy (Peregrine) at church Christmas day, 2016.
Other than touch ups, this is unedited.
Do any of you guys know how to edit out reflection in a person's glasses?
Constructive criticism welcome.
Hey all,
My name is Alyssa and I'm a total newbie. I got my first DSLR camera (a Nikon D3400 + AF-P Nikkor 18-55mm lens kit) for Christmas. So far I've shot several thousand pictures, mostly of my daughter. In all the Christmas mess I managed to lose my user manual so I'm literally starting blind. Lol, there are all these buttons and settings that have codes that I don't understand (Lv, Fn, AE-L/AF-L, ISO-A, etc...). Yet, in spite of my extreme newbieness, because of the sheer volume of pictures I've taken, a few happen to not be horrible. Unfortunately, I have no blessed idea how to recreate them because I don't know what I did to get them in the first place. Sigh.
I'm going to post a few of them and I invite any and all comments and critiques. Additionally, if there is anything that you guys would do to these pictures in editing to make them better, please speak up.
I would eventually like to shoot mainly portraits and events (such as weddings, parties, births, etc...) so I would love any and all tips on those subjects.
Thanks in advance,
AlyM
