I love in a small township in Western North Carolina and love to travel all over the world photographing landscapes, animals, flowers, cars, people, buildings, just about anything but COVID has put a stop to all but local opportunities. I am sure many on this list have encountered the same thing. There is still plenty to shoot right near where I live, waterfalls, Fall colors now although they have waned in color, small creeks with colorful leaves in batches, horses, bears and other animals. Any other folks on this list from this part of NC who like to do outdoor photography? Thanks.

Does anyone have the new Canon 1D Mark IV? I am considering buying one but would love some feedback from others? Most of what I do is outdoor wildlife but I also love waterfalls, rapids in rivers, and really, anything outside. When I shoot wildlife, I like a camera that will do at least 8 FPS but I understand this new camera will allow a large number of frames before it has to rebuff? Any help would be wonderful. My email is tomhyde444@gmail.com if you wish to contact me there. Thank you.

I was introduced to the Olympus Pen Ft in 1968 while stationed in Japan as a Marine. I still have that original camera and a number of lenses. That camera continues to take incredible images and works well. Remember, they also make top quality microscopes and other optics. I do not have a recent Olympus but certainly would consider one. I do collect cameras and have at least 20 Olympus cameras, different years.
