For this New Year I'm going to offer to take everyone's FREE,used, unwanted photography equipment off their hands! No one needs the burden of trying to figure out how much to charge or physical condition and all things associated with selling their stuff.
On a more serious note, I also plan on getting "out there" more often, learning and taking quality photographs rather than just snap shots! Happy New Year everyone! God Bless!

Thank you Rowedean! Sometime I have scenery envy when I see all the beautiful mountains and rock formations that others post. It's good to realize Florida has some nice views too!

Especially this time of year here in the north!

[quote=Gene51]Most midrange DSLRs and mirrorless cameras have "easy more advanced modes when you are ready. You "can" get a Nikon D3400, Sony A6000 or a Canon T6, but you may outgrow it sooner than you'd outgrow a D7200, Sony A6500.

How do you "outgrow" a camera that does virtually the same things only may not be AS fast or may not have AS high of ISO or not quite AS sharp, especially when you are using the exact same lens? (FF not withstanding) You have the same control over all of the settings with most cameras in manual mode. If you're wanting a backup camera or just the latest/greatest then that's a different story. I always want to buy something new/different!

I don't understand the risks of gray market, and I've been happily using gray market stuff for years. Ignorance is bliss. 😉

The risk (unfortunatly) is if and when something goes wrong with your equipment,Nikon will not touch it. So you may save money in the beginning but you will be paying in the end (or out the end)

My 2 CENTS!
I love my Nikon D3200. Has all the features ill ever need and excellent quality. You can still find multi lens bundles rather inexpensively if you research. And when I want to upgade,I will keep my lenses and buy a new body! And because its digital, if i dont like my pictures for any reason i just hit "delete" Embrace the digital age! The 3200 may be older, outdated technology but 4 short yrs ago,it was cutting edge! The best part about buying new equipment is the research. Good luck!
